Martin Sexton Born March 2, 1966 is an American singer-songwriter and music producer.
Born in 1966,[ citation needed ] Sexton grew up in Syracuse, New York, the tenth of twelve children in a working class Irish-American family. [1] He acquired his first guitar, a Sears & Roebuck acoustic model, at age 14.[ citation needed ]
In 1988, Sexton moved to Boston, and began playing on street corners and at open mic nights around the city. [2] [3] Sexton released a collection of self-produced demo recordings in 1991 called In The Journey. The album was released on an 8-track cassette, and Sexton sold 15,000 copies to fans. [2]
He was given the National Academy of Songwriters Artist of the Year Award in 1994. [2] He released Black Sheep in 1996 (season 6 episode 11 of the TV sitcom Scrubs featured track #3, "Diner"), [4] an album called The American in 1998, and another album called Wonder Bar in 2000. [2] He launched his independent record label, Kitchen Table Records, in 2001 and released a concert album called Live Wide Open. [2] His album, Seeds, was released in 2007. [2]
In 2008, he released a second live album called Solo. [2] Subsequent albums included Sugarcoating (2010), Fall Like Rain (2012). [2] and Mixtape of the Open Road (2015). [2]
In 2017, Martin joined Chris Anderson (upright and electric bass) and Boo Reiners (multi-string instruments) to make The Martin Sexton Trio.
Sexton's latest recording, "2020 Vision" was released on September 1, 2021.

Stevland Hardaway Morris, known professionally as Stevie Wonder, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer. A virtual one-man band, Wonder's use of synthesizers and other electronic musical instruments during the 1970s reshaped the conventions of contemporary R&B. Kathleen Margaret Edwards is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. Her 2002 debut album, Failer, contained the singles "Six O'Clock News" and "Hockey Skates". Her next two albums – Back to Me and Asking for Flowers – both made the Billboard 200 list and reached the top 10 of Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart. In 2012, Edwards' fourth studio album, Voyageur, became Edwards' first album to crack the top 100 and top 40 in the U.S., peaking at #39 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and #2 in Canada. Living in a Dream is a live album by the Texas blues rock band Arc Angels. The first disk of the album contains the majority of a show recorded on March 26, 2005, at Stubb's Bar-B-Q in Austin, Texas. The show which proved to be historic for the band. They played the entirety of their debut album, a then unreleased song "Crave and Wonder" and a cover of Muddy Waters' "She's Alright." This show also proved to be the Arc Angels' final with original bass guitarist Tommy Shannon. The second disk contains 3 studio tracks recorded specifically for this album as well as the remainder of the 2005 show—along with the song "Spanish Moon." The DVD contains the Stubb's show and interview footage directed by Kyle Ellison and produced by Mark Proct and Charlie Boswell.
