Master Mixes is a remix EP by English rock band Duran Duran. This double 12" compilation was released commercially in the United States by Capitol under the production label of Masterdisk Corporation and in Brazil by EMI in 1987. [1]
In 1999, EMI released a collection of remixes under the title Strange Behaviour and included the "American Science (Chemical Reaction Mix)", giving the mix its first truly commercial release. The other remix of "American Science" and the Kurtis Mantronik mixes of "Vertigo" have yet to receive a commercial release. Neither has the "Notoriousaurus Rex (Master Mix)". [2]

Notorious is the fourth studio album by English rock band Duran Duran, released on 18 November 1986 by EMI Records. Produced by the band with Nile Rodgers, the album was recorded between April and October 1986 in several studios in Paris, London, and New York. It is the first album to feature the band as a trio with singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and bassist John Taylor, as drummer Roger Taylor left due to being weary of the music industry while guitarist Andy Taylor, wanting to start his own solo career, would play on several tracks before leaving after several aborted sessions.

Kurtis el Khaleel, known by the stage name Kurtis Mantronik, is a Jamaican-born hip hop and electronic-music artist, DJ, remixer, and producer. He was the leader, DJ, and keyboardist of the influential 1980s hip hop and electro-funk group Mantronix. He currently lives in South Africa where he has produced and remixed house and techno music tracks by artists such as India, Junior Senior, Kylie Minogue, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Michael Gray, Victoria Beckham, Liberty X, and Mim. Mantronik was influential in the development of hip hop music: notably, he laid the foundations for Southern hip hop genres such as Miami bass and trap music, and helped popularize the Amen break.

"Notorious" is the fourteenth single by the English new wave band Duran Duran. Released internationally by EMI on 20 October 1986, "Notorious" was the first single issued from Duran Duran's fourth studio album of the same name, and the first released by Duran Duran as a trio as Roger Taylor and Andy Taylor had both left the band by the time it was released.

"Meet El Presidente" is the sixteenth single by Duran Duran, and the third single from the Notorious album. The song is another showcase of the band's changing musical style, a doo wop influenced backing chorus, a Motownesque bassline, and soulful vocals by lead singer Simon Le Bon. The single version is different from the album, applying prominent Latin percussion and a more energetic tempo.

Its music video was included on the band's audiovisual compilation Greatest, released in 1999 (VHS) and 2003 (DVD). "Electric Barbarella" is the 29th single by English new wave band Duran Duran, and the first official single from the album Medazzaland. In 1997, the single and album were released only in the United States; "Electric Barbarella" was not issued as a single in the UK until January 1999 on the back of the late 1998 release of the compilation album Greatest.
Night Versions: The Essential Duran Duran is a compilation album of remixes by English rock band Duran Duran. From the very beginning of their career, the band had dubbed the extended dance remixes of their songs "night versions", as they were intended for play in nightclubs.
6ix by 3hree is a video compilation by English rock band Duran Duran released in 1989 on VHS and LaserDisc. There is currently no commercial DVD release available but the whole compilation was included as an extra on the 2010 DD Fan Club DVD release of Three to Get Ready. The six videos of the title are taken from the band's albums Notorious and Big Thing.
