Veturi Sundararama Murthy, known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. His career in Telugu cinema spanned more than four decades.
Sri Ramadasu is 2006 Indian Telugu-language biographical film, based on the life of musician saint Kancharla Gopanna. A reboot of V. Nagayya's 1964 film Ramadasu; the film is written and directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Produced by Konda Krishnam Raju the film starred Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Suman, Sneha and music was composed by M. M. Keeravani. Cinematography and editing were handled by S. Gopal Reddy and Sreekar Prasad respectively. Upon release, the film got positive reviews.

Ankuram (transl. Seeding) is a 1993 Telugu-language drama film written and directed by C. Umamaheswara Rao. It stars Revathi, Sarath Babu and Om Puri. The film is about an inspiring journey of a middle-class woman to return an abandoned child to his father. Ankuram runs, in the background, issues like social stigmas, feudalism, naxalism, bureaucracy and human rights. It was featured at the 24th IFFI "Indian Panorama" mainstream section.

Sogasu Chooda Tarama! is a 1995 Telugu language romance film directed by Gunasekhar. The film stars Naresh, Indraja, Tanikella Bharani, Mallikarjuna Rao, and Ramana Murthy. The film won four Nandi Awards. It was not commercially successful. The film is an unofficial remake of 1993 American film Indecent Proposal.
Aada Paduchu (transl. Sister) is a 1967 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced and directed by K. Hemambaradhara Rao under the Subhashini Art Pictures banner. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Krishna Kumari, Sobhan Babu, Vanisri and Chandrakala, with music composed by T. Chalapathi Rao. The film is a remake of the 1952 Tamil movie En Thangai (1952) which was earlier remade in Hindi in 1959 as Chhoti Bahen and in Kannada in 1967 as Onde Balliya Hoogalu. The film received critical acclaim and was recorded as a Super Hit at the box office.
Seetharamayya Gari Manavaralu is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Kranthi Kumar, and produced by V. Doraswamy Raju under the VMC Productions banner. The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Meena and Rohini Hattangadi with the music composed by M. M. Keeravani. Based on the novel Navvina Kanneelle by Manasa, the plot follows Seetha (Meena) who arrives from the US to visit her grandparents, Seetharamayya (Rao) and Janakamma (Hattangadi) who are uninformed of her parents' accidental death.

It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna, Sarada and Rajani, with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was recorded as a Super Hit at the box office and remade as Hindi film Kanoon Apna Apna (1989).

Vijetha (transl. Winner) is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action drama film, starring debutant Kalyaan Dhev, Murali Sharma and Malavika Nair. Rakesh Sashii is the director, and Sai Korrapati and Rajani Korrapati are the producers. The film was released on 12 July 2018. Dhev won SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut – Telugu at the 8th SIIMA for his role in the film.
