Matthew Stone

Matthew Stone (born 1982 in London, England) [1] is a London-based artist. He is part of the South London art collective !Wowow!. [2]

Stone graduated from Camberwell College of Arts, London in 2004. He currently stages performances and films. [3] In 2007, his first solo show, entitled "Futurehindsight", took place at UNION in London. [4] In November 2009, Stone topped the arts section in a "Power players Under 30" list compiled by the Sunday Times. [5] Stone frequently collaborates with FKA Twigs and created the album artwork for 2019's Magdalene . [6]

In November 2011, Stone had an exhibition at Kathy Grayson's "The Hole" Gallery entitled Optimism as Cultural Rebellion, the same name as his blog. Stone has had subsequent exhibitions at the Hole in 2018, 2020 and 2023. [7] [8] [9]

M3LL155X is the third extended play (EP) by English singer and songwriter FKA Twigs, released on 13 August 2015 by Young Turks. The EP was lauded by music critics after its release and peaked at number 63 on the Billboard 200 becoming her second entry on the chart.

Millie Brown is an English performance artist known for her work involving vomiting. She rose to prominence after a series of collaborations with musician Lady Gaga. She is also a founding member of the !WOWOW! Collective of London, England. She began her career at age 17 on a Berlin stage where she vomited onto a canvas after drinking glasses of dyed milk, a performance that lasted for two hours. In an interview with The Guardian, she states, “I wanted to use my body to create art. I wanted to come from within, to create something beautiful that was raw and uncontrollable.” She now works and resides in Los Angeles, California.

Jesse Kanda is an artist, animator and musician based in London. He was born in Japan and raised in Canada. Besides his solo career as an artist and musician, he is also well known for his collaborations with musicians including Arca, FKA Twigs and Björk as well as providing visuals for fashion label Hood By Air.

Magdalene is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter FKA Twigs. It was released on 8 November 2019 by Young Turks. It is her first project since her EP M3LL155X (2015), and first full-length record since LP1 (2014). The album features a sole guest appearance from American rapper Future. FKA Twigs produced the album herself, with a wide range of co-producers including Nicolás Jaar, Koreless, Daniel Lopatin, Skrillex, Benny Blanco, Michael Uzowuru and Noah Goldstein, who also served as executive producer alongside Twigs.
