The Boeing C-32 is the United States Air Force designation for variants of the Boeing 757 in military service. Two variants exist, filling different parts of the military passenger transport role. The C-32A serves the Special Air Mission, providing executive transport and broad communications capabilities to senior political officials, while the C-32B Gatekeeper provides clandestine airlift to special operations and global emergency response efforts, a role known as "covered air."
Gretsch is an American company that manufactures musical instruments. The company was founded in 1883 in Brooklyn, New York by Friedrich Gretsch, a 27-year-old German immigrant, shortly after his arrival to the United States. Friedrich Gretsch manufactured banjos, tambourines, and drums until his death in 1895. In 1916, his son, Fred Gretsch Sr. moved operations to a larger facility where Gretsch went on to become a prominent manufacturer of American musical instruments. Through the years, Gretsch has manufactured a wide range of instruments, though they currently focus on electric, acoustic and resonator guitars, basses, ukuleles, and drums.
Springfield College is a private college in Springfield, Massachusetts. The institution confers undergraduate and graduate degrees. He was a member of the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse before retiring in 2009. He now lives in New York City. In June 2010 he sold his company Maverik Lacrosse to New York City private equity company Kohlberg & Co. Kohlberg & Co also owns Bauer Hockey and 16 other companies.
The Princeton Tigers are the athletic teams of Princeton University. The school sponsors 38 varsity teams in 20 sports. The school has won several NCAA national championships, including one in men's fencing, three in women's lacrosse, six in men's lacrosse, and eight in men's golf. DPA Microphones is a Danish manufacturer of microphones and microphone solutions for the professional markets, owned by the Italien pro audio manufacturer RCF Audio. The current CEO is Kalle Hvidt. The company was founded in 1992 by two former employees from Brüel & Kjær - Morten Stove and Ole Brosted Sorensen. Brüel & Kjaer had decided to close their Pro Audio department and Morten and Ole made a contract with B&K to take over sales, service and development. DPA was at that time solely supplying high end studio microphones for recording and broadcast use. In 1995 they teamed up with Dan Ingemann Jensen and Jens Jørn Stokholm from DanaBallerina and co-developed the later famous DPA 4060 and 4061 miniature microphone, which quickly became the preferred microphone in the theatre world on Broadway in New York and the West End in London. The company received the prestigious King Frederik IX award at a ceremony in Fredensborg Castle.
