Montclair is a township in Essex County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Situated on the cliffs of the Watchung Mountains, Montclair is a commercial and cultural hub of North Jersey and a diverse bedroom community of New York City within the New York metropolitan area. The township is the home of Montclair State University, the state's second-largest university.
The U.S. Labor Party (USLP) was an American political party formed in 1973 by the National Caucus of Labor Committees (NCLC). Cranford, New Jersey was incorporated on March 14, 1871. The mayor is the chief elected official in the Township of Cranford, in Union County, New Jersey. The township elects five commissioners at-large to three-year terms, and the members of the township committee elect one of their own as mayor and one as deputy mayor for one-year terms. The mayor of Cranford is the chairman of the township committee and presides over meetings, sets agendas, oversees township government, and performs ceremonial functions. The mayor has the same one vote as other commissioners and is a part-time ceremonial function. The mayor of Cranford possesses other duties assigned to mayors under New Jersey law. The Mayor of Johannesburg is the highest elected position in the city of Johannesburg, South Africa. Since 2000, they are the chief executive of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality council. The position remained vacant from 24 April 2023, when Thapelo Amad announced his resignation after less than three months in office. On May 5, 2023, the council elected Al Jama-ah's Kabelo Gwamanda to the position.
The IEEE Edison Medal is presented by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) "for a career of meritorious achievement in electrical science, electrical engineering, or the electrical arts." Princeton was founded by Europeans in the latter part of the 17th century. Because of a dispute over school taxes, the municipality split into the Borough of Princeton and Princeton Township in 1894, and both became fully independent municipalities. On January 1, 2013, the two consolidated as Princeton under a borough form of government.

The 1984 United States Senate election in New Jersey was held on November 6, 1984. Incumbent Democrat Bill Bradley defeated Republican nominee Mary V. Mochary with 64.16% of the vote, winning every county in the state. To date, this is the most recent time Hunterdon, Sussex, and Warren counties were won by a Democrat in a statewide election. This was also the last time Morris County voted Democratic in a statewide election until 2020, where Senator Cory Booker won the county in his reelection and Joe Biden won the county in the 2020 presidential race.
