The McCabe Building in Victoria, Texas was built in 1908. The McCabe Building is an example of a local two story frame commercial structure. J. H. McCabe operated a grocery business in the building. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 19, 1986. [1]
A neighboring business, Wholesale Tire Company, purchased the lot and building in 2013 because they needed more room for inventory and work space. The building was inspected and found to be losing structural integrity. The business decided it would be too large an investment to incorporate the building into their expansion plans. The building was scheduled to be demolished. [2]
The West End Historic District of Dallas, Texas, is a historic district that includes a 67.5-acre (27.3 ha) area in northwest downtown, generally north of Commerce, east of I-35E, west of Lamar and south of the Woodall Rodgers Freeway. It is south of Victory Park, west of the Arts, City Center, and Main Street districts, and north of the Government and Reunion districts. A portion of the district is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as Westend Historic District. A smaller area is also a Dallas Landmark District. The far western part of the district belongs to the Dealey Plaza Historic District, a National Historic Landmark around structures and memorials associated with the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
Ownby Stadium was a stadium in the University Park suburb of Dallas, Texas. It was the home of the Southern Methodist University Mustang football team. In late 1998, the stadium was demolished to build Gerald J. Ford Stadium at the site.

Little House is a historic house in Victoria, Texas, that was built circa 1896. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It was deemed to be an "exceptional local example of a Victorian-era residence". Its Victorian features include asymmetrical massing and an octagonal turret on its second floor. It was listed on the National Register as part of a group of historic Victoria resources.
The Settles Hotel is a historic 15-story hotel located at 200 East Third Street in Big Spring, Texas. Originally completed in 1930, the Settles opened for business October 1, 1930. It operated from 1930 until the early 1980s, and was subsequently abandoned for around 30 years, before reopening in late 2012.
Mayo Hall, also known as Boys' Dormitory or Men's Dormitory, was a building in Commerce, Texas on the campus of Texas A&M University-Commerce that was built in 1936 with much of the $115,000 cost coming from the Public Works Administration. The hall housed seventy students and had a cafeteria and recreation room. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 and removed seven years later. The hall was demolished in February 2008.

It was built during 1906-1907 and reflects Renaissance Revival architecture. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 as the US Post Office and Courthouse. It served historically as a post office and continues to serve as a federal courthouse for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. In 2014, the building was renamed in honor of District Judge Paul Neeley Brown.
