McConnell's Windmill, also known as Morristown Windmill and Stone Windmill, is a stone windmill in Morristown, New York. It was built in 1825, and is a coursed rubble stone structure measuring 40 feet tall and 77 feet in circumference. It was used as a grist mill. The building has been used as a jail and as an Air Warning System Observation Post (N. 69 c) during World War II. [2] :5 It is the only windmill on the American side of the St. Lawrence Valley.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1]

The Dr. Buck–Stevens House, also known as the Octagon House is an historic octagonal house located on West Main St., in Brasher Falls, in the town of Brasher, St. Lawrence County, New York. It was built between 1855 and 1857 by Dr. Nathan Buck and his wife Elmira, who lived in it until 1867; John Stevens was one of many later owners. It is a two-story residence on a raised basement. It is constructed of stuccoed concrete rusticated to resemble cut stone masonry. It has a two-story portico and is topped by a cupola.

The Clinton County Courthouse Complex is a historic county government and courthouse site located at 135 Margaret Street in Plattsburgh, Clinton County, New York. The main courthouse was constructed in 1889. It is a two-story, ashlar stone and brick Richardsonian Romanesque style building. It has a hipped roof and rock-faced arched openings. It features a large, square central tower with an open campanile and pyramidal roof. The associated Surrogate's Building was built in 1884–1885, and is a two-story, Italianate style brick building with a bracketed cornice with Renaissance style detail.

It was built in 1907 and is a two-story, red brick "H" shaped institutional building in the Georgian Revival style. It is trimmed with yellow brick and stone. Erie Canal: Second Genesee Aqueduct, also known as the Broad Street Aqueduct or Broad Street Bridge, is a historic stone aqueduct located at Rochester in Monroe County, New York. It was constructed in 1836–1842 and originally carried the Erie Canal over the Genesee River. The overall length of the aqueduct including the wings and abutments is 800 feet (240 m). The aqueduct is 70 feet (21 m) wide and has massive parapets on either side. It is one of four major aqueducts in the mid-19th century Erie Canal system. In 1927, a roadbed was added to carry automobile traffic and named Broad Street. It also carried a part of the Rochester Subway.

It is a one-story frame building on a stone foundation, 25 feet wide and 41 feet deep. It was originally built in the 1830s as a store and post office. It was remodeled sometime before the 1860s for use as a school. It ceased being used as a school in 1951 and is now used as a community center.

It measures approximately 30 by 20 feet, has a front gable roof with overhanging eaves, and sits on a stone foundation. The front facade features a one-story, almost full-width porch with shed roof. The building is owned by the Stanford Historical Society and leased by the United State Postal Service.
