McKinley Singleton is an American former basketball player who played the guard position. [1]

During his senior season in college with UAB in 1984, he won the Sun Belt Conference men's basketball tournament and was named the tournaments MVP. [2]

Singleton was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in the sixth round of the 1984 NBA draft, but was waived by the team before the season began. [3] He later played two games with the New York Knicks during the 1986-87 NBA season. [4]

In 1993, he won the Canadian NBL championship with the Saskatoon Slam. [5]

Ricky Wayne Blanton is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the National Basketball Association's Phoenix Suns in the 2nd round of the 1989 NBA Draft. A 6'7" and 215 lb forward/center from Louisiana State University, Blanton signed a 10-day contract and played in only two career NBA games for Chicago Bulls during the 1992–93 season in 18 point wins against the Sacramento Kings on Feb 15, 1993 and Utah Jazz on Feb 17, 1993 at the Chicago Stadium.

Tavares Montgomery Williams is an American professional basketball coach and a former player and executive who is the head coach for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Williams played for five NBA teams during a playing career that spanned from 1994 to 2003. His NBA coaching career has included stints as an assistant coach, as an associate head coach, and as a head coach. Williams was the head coach for the New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans from 2010 until 2015. He served as an assistant coach with the United States national team under Mike Krzyzewski, and he has worked as a vice president of basketball operations for the San Antonio Spurs. In May 2019, Williams was hired as the head coach of the Phoenix Suns. In 2021, he led the Suns to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1993. He was named the NBA Coach of the Year in 2022, when the Suns finished the regular season with a franchise-record 64 wins.

The 1992–93 NBA season was the 25th season for the Phoenix Suns in the National Basketball Association. This season is most memorable for the Suns acquiring All-Star power forward Charles Barkley from the Philadelphia 76ers, and signing free agent Danny Ainge prior to the season. Under new head coach Paul Westphal, the Suns had a successful season posting a 14-game winning streak in December, which led them to a 21–4 start, held a 38–10 record at the All-Star break, then posted an 11-game winning streak between March and April to finish with an NBA-best 62–20 record. The team set the franchise record for most wins in a season. Barkley won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award, and led the team to its second trip to the NBA Finals, where they lost to Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and the 2-time defending champion Chicago Bulls in six games.
