Meet Corliss Archer is an American television sitcom that was broadcast on CBS between July 13 and August 10, 1951, [1] and in syndication via the Ziv Company from April to December 1954. It was an adaptation of the radio series of the same name, which was based on a series of short stories by F. Hugh Herbert. [2] It was also broadcast in Canada. [3]

Synopsis

Corliss Archer is a lovable blonde teenager who is delicately balancing her high-school life and relationship with her goofy boyfriend Dexter Franklin, and her homelife with parents Harry and Janet Archer.

Mr. District Attorney is a radio crime drama produced by Samuel Bischoff that aired on NBC and ABC from April 3, 1939 to June 13, 1952. The series focused on a crusading district attorney initially known only as Mister District Attorney or Chief, and was later translated to television. On television, the attorney's name was Paul Garrett, and the radio version adopted the name in its final years when David Brian played the role. Meet Corliss Archer is an American radio program from radio's Golden Age that ran from January 7, 1943, to September 30, 1956. Although it was CBS's answer to NBC's A Date with Judy, it was also broadcast by NBC in 1948 as a summer replacement for The Bob Hope Show. From October 3, 1952, to June 26, 1953, it aired on ABC, finally returning to CBS. Despite the program's long run, fewer than 24 episodes are known to exist.

Waterfront is a syndicated half-hour American television drama series that starred Preston Foster as the captain of the harbor tug Cheryl Ann. The series was filmed 1954-1955 by Roland Reed Productions, Inc., for the Ziv Company, in part on location at the Port of Los Angeles. Although Foster had been a Broadway, Vaudeville, and Hollywood actor since his 20's, he grew up in coastal cities in New Jersey, worked as a clerk for a shipping company when he was 20, and was an officer in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He was quoted as insisting on authenticity where possible in the production.

Janet Dean, Registered Nurse is an American medical drama television series. It was released in February 1954, and it continued to be broadcast in reruns in the early 1960s. It was the first TV series in which the lead was a nurse. By October 1954, the show's title had been changed to The Ella Raines Show "following the lead of other packages that switched to the stars' names to help pull an audience for the package."

Bold Venture is a 30-minute American adventure television series that was syndicated in 1959. It was based on the radio series Bold Venture.
