Mehreen Mahmud, known by her stage name Mehreen, is a Bangladeshi singer.
Mehreen studied in Viqarunnisa Noon School and Holy Cross College. She completed her master's degree in English literature from the University of Dhaka, after 3 years Honours. [1]
Mehreen's debut album, Anari, was released in 2000. [2] Don't Forget Me was released in 2006, and Tumi Acho Bole in 2008. [3] She is a jazz-fusion-pop artist. She was a Bangladeshi Idol judge for season 1 in 2012. [4]
In July 2023, Mehreen was awarded "Bongonari Shommanona" at Indian Council for Cultural Relations in Kolkata. [5] [6] In August, she was awarded with "Attajan Smrity Sammanana" at the 104th anniversary programme of East Bengal FC held in Kolkata, India. It was given by Aroop Biswas, West Bengal sports minister, and Firhad Hakim, the mayor of Kolkata. [7] [8]

GeetashreeSandhya Mukherjee was an Indian playback singer and musician, specialising in Bengali music. She received Banga Bibhushan, the highest civilian honour of the Indian state of West Bengal in 2011. She also won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her songs in the films Jay Jayanti and Nishi Padma in the year 1970.

She released her debut album Notun Kore Pabo Bole in 2007 from Dhaka, Bangladesh, which was a collection of Rabindra Sangeet. Her second album Shikawr released in 2014 with several musicians from West Bengal. Sahana's second Rabindra Sangeet album Ja Bolo Tai Bolo was released in 2015 and the latest solo album, Mon Bandhibi Kemone in 2016.

Somnur Monir Konal is a Bangladeshi singer and television host who is best known as a playback singer for Bangladeshi films.
