Wattleup is a southern suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Cockburn. In the mid 1990's to the early 2000's, planning was undertaken to redevelop the suburb as part of the Hope Valley-Wattleup Redevelopment Project, also known as "Latitude 32". This was to involve the acquisition and demolition of the townsite, and its rezoning and redevelopment for industrial use. The townsite of Wattleup was located at the western end of the suburb, at the intersection of Wattleup Road and Rockingham Road. Wattleup had many market gardens in the past. They provided agricultural produce for the town of Fremantle.
The City of Joondalup is a local government area in Perth, Western Australia. Its central business district is located in the suburb Joondalup, and it includes the town centres of Hillarys and Warwick.
Gloucester Park is a harness racing course in Perth, Western Australia. In the suburb of East Perth, the oval course is adjacent to the WACA Ground. The track is lit, and Friday night pacing events are popular. As of 2006 the Western Australian Trotting Association have used Gloucester Park for more than 70 years, starting with the first Inter Dominion Championship held in February 1936. Gloucester Park has also been used for Telstra Rally Australia. Between 1977 and 1979 Gloucester Park was used as a venue for World Series Cricket matches. Between September 2015 and April 2017, the drop-in wickets for Optus Stadium were built and maintained in the center of Gloucester Park.
Barrack Square is an open public square on the foreshore of Perth Water on the Swan River, located at the southern end of Barrack Street near the central business district of Perth, Western Australia.

Representing the Australian Labor Party, she has been the member for the electoral district of West Swan in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly, the lower house of the Parliament of Western Australia, since 6 September 2008. Since June 2023, she has been the deputy premier of Western Australia, the treasurer of Western Australia, the minister for transport, and the minister for tourism. From March 2017 to June 2023, she was the minister for transport and minister for planning. From March 2021 to June 2023, she was also the minister for ports. From March 2017 to December 2018, she was also the minister for lands.
Elizabeth Quay is a mixed-use development project in the Perth central business district. Encompassing an area located on the north shore of Perth Water near the landmark Swan Bells, the precinct was named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II during her Diamond Jubilee.

LandCorp was an agency of the Government of Western Australia. It was responsible for releasing land for residential and commercial development throughout Western Australia.
The 1955 Plan for the Metropolitan Region, Perth and Fremantle was prepared for the Government of Western Australia by Gordon Stephenson and Alistair Hepburn. The plan was the first regional plan for Perth, and provided the basis for land use zoning under the Metropolitan Region Scheme. Even though not every recommendation of the report was adopted it is considered to have provided the underlying template for the modern development of Perth. The plan was superseded by the Corridor Plan for Perth in 1970.
DevelopmentWA is a land development agency of the Western Australian government. It was formed in September 2019 as a merger of the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority and the Western Australian Land Authority, then known as Landcorp. DevelopmentWA now implements the requirements of both the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority Act 2011, and the Western Australian Land Authority Act 1992. DevelopmentWA has an independent board of directors appointed by the state government and reports annually to Parliament. Collectively the agency delivers industrial, residential and commercial projects of strategic importance to the state. In 2019-20, the agency returned a profit of $60.1 million to the government.
