Mia Mohammad Zainul Abedin was a Bangladesh Army General. He was the former Military Secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from 2011 to 2019. [1] [2] He was a recipient of Bir Bikrom gallantry award. [3]
Abedin was born on 1 January 1960 in Lohagara,Chittagong District,East Pakistan,Pakistan. He graduated from Faujdarhat Cadet College in Chittagong. [4]
Abedin was commissioned with the 2nd BMA long course in Bangladesh Army in 1980. [4]
Abedin was placed in charge of Special Security Force in 2009. [4]
On 28 November 2011,he was made the Military Secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh,Sheikh Hasina. [4] [5]
Abedin died on 17 December 2019 in Mount Elizabeth Hospital,Singapore. [4]

Ziaur Rahman was a Bangladeshi military officer and politician who served as the President of Bangladesh from 1977 until his assassination. He was the founder of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and served as its chairman until his assassination. He previously served as the second chief of army staff from 1975 to 1978 with a minor break.

Zainul Abedin,also known as Shilpacharya was a prominent Bangladeshi painter. He became well known in 1944 through his series of paintings depicting some of the great famines in Bengal during its British colonial period. After the Partition of Indian subcontinent he moved to East Pakistan. In 1948,he helped to establish the Institute of Arts and Crafts at the University of Dhaka. The Indian Express has described him as a legendary Bangladeshi painter and activist. Like many of his contemporaries,his paintings on the Bengal famine of 1943 are viewed as his most characteristic works. His homeland honored him with given the title "Shilpacharya" "Great teacher of the arts" for his artistic and visionary attributes. He was the pioneer of the modern art movement that took place in Bangladesh and was rightly considered by Syed Manzoorul Islam as the founding father of Bangladeshi modern arts,soon after Bangladesh earned the status of an independent republic.
Abdur Rahman Biswas was a Bangladeshi politician. He was the President of Bangladesh from 1991 to 1996. Biswas represented Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly prior to the independence of Bangladesh.
