Mia Sinclair Jenness [1] (born December 14, 2005) [2] [1] is an American teen theater actress. She was one of three girls who rotated as the star title character on the US tour for Matilda the Musical . [3] In the off-Broadway play Mary Page Marlowe , she portrays the 12-year-old version of Mary. [4] In 2018, she voiced the title character Nancy Clancy on Disney Junior's animated television series Fancy Nancy . [5] She also had an ensemble and understudy role on the 201415 Broadway production of Les Miserables . [6] She portrayed Lily Nill in the pilot episode for the TV series Panic . [7] [8] She voices young Powder in the Netflix League of Legends -based series Arcane . [9]

Personal life

Jenness grew up in Millburn, New Jersey and is the daughter of actress Emily Bauer. [10] In 2012, at age six, she participated in the play And a Child Shall Lead, which is about the Terezin concentration camp. [11] Her brother, Brady Jenness, is also an actor. [12]

Fancy Nancy is a 2005 children's picture book series written by Jane O'Connor and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser. Its first book entry spent nearly 100 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list, resulting in the launch of a series that now spawns over 100 titles, with sales of more than 50 million volumes. Fancy Nancy has been on Publishers Weekly's bestseller list for picture books, was a Children's Book-of-the-Month Club selection and a Junior Library Guild Selection. It also won a "Borders 2006 Original Voices" award and has been translated into 20 languages, including Hungarian and Hebrew. In April 2012, Nancy was featured in her first chapter book, Nancy Clancy: Super Sleuth. Jinx (<i>League of Legends</i>) Video game character

Jinx is a character in Riot Games' League of Legends media franchise. She was introduced as a playable champion in the October 2013 update for the 2009 video game of the same name, which was complemented by the animated music video "Get Jinxed" to commemorate her official debut. Jinx is depicted as a manic and impulsive criminal from Zaun who serves as the archenemy of the Piltover enforcer Vi. The Netflix animated series Arcane explores the character's origin story as Powder, Vi's younger sister who, following a series of family tragedies, is taken in and raised by the crime lord Silco.

<i>Arcane</i> (TV series) 2021 animated fantasy series

Arcane is an animated steampunk action-adventure television series created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. It was produced by the French animation studio Fortiche under the supervision of Riot Games, and distributed by Netflix. Set in Riot's League of Legends fictional universe, it primarily focuses on sisters Vi and Jinx. The series was announced at the League of Legends 10th anniversary celebration in 2019, and first released in November 2021. Following the conclusion of the first season, Riot Games and Netflix announced that a second season was in production.
