Mickey Mouse in Color was a book published in 1988 by Another Rainbow Publishing, featuring the works of Disney comic artists Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks.
There were 3 editions:
The Deluxe Regular editions were oversize, hardbound books measuring 12+1⁄2" × 16+1⁄2", containing 248 pages (216 of which are in full color), with a Mylar dust jacket. There were 72 pages devoted to the Mickey Mouse Sunday page by Floyd Gottfredson and an additional 72 pages featuring Mickey Mouse daily strips by Floyd Gottfredson. In addition, there are two Mickey Mouse drawings of Carl Barks that he submitted to the Disney Studios in the mid-1930s.
The book contains special articles and interviews with Gottfredson and Barks, including rare drawings, photographs, and published art. Finally, each book contains a numbered 7-inch record, which features a portion of Bruce Hamilton's interview with Floyd Gottfredson and Carl Barks in which the two creators reveal something very interesting about their favorite stories.
The Deluxe Gold Plate Edition, in addition to the above contents, also has an original Mickey Mouse sketch by Carl Barks. (Average size of sketch is 31⁄2" to 4" tall.)
The Trade Edition is a 9" × 11" hardback which features 8 comic strip adventures by Floyd Gottfredson. Also included are special features on Gottfredson and Mickey Mouse, featuring and interview with Gottfredson and an index of Mickey's complete comic strip adventures. These are not numbered or signed.
Carl Barks was an American cartoonist, author, and painter. He is best known for his work in Disney comic books, as the writer and artist of the first Donald Duck stories and as the creator of Scrooge McDuck. He worked anonymously until late in his career; fans dubbed him The Duck Man and The Good Duck Artist. In 1987, Barks was one of the three inaugural inductees of the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame.

Arthur Floyd Gottfredson was an American cartoonist best known for his defining work on the Mickey Mouse comic strip, which he worked on from 1930 until his retirement in 1975. His contribution to Mickey Mouse comics is comparable to Carl Barks's on the Donald Duck comics. 17 years after his death, his memory was honored with the Disney Legends award in 2003 and induction into the Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.
Gladstone Publishing was an American company that published Disney comics from 1986 to 1990 and from 1993 to 1998. The company had its origins as a subsidiary of Another Rainbow Publishing, a company formed by Bruce Hamilton and Russ Cochran to publish the Carl Barks Library and produce limited edition lithographs of Carl Barks oil paintings of the Disney ducks. The name references Gladstone Gander.

Mickey Mouse Adventures was a Disney comic book first published by Disney Comics from 1990 to 1991. It featured Mickey Mouse as the main character along with other characters from the Mickey Mouse universe. Somewhat similar in style to the animated series DuckTales, it was based on the continuity of earlier print material starring Mickey, mainly Floyd Gottfredson's stories in the Mickey Mouse comic strip.

In many European countries, Donald is considered the lead character in Disney comics, more important and beloved than Mickey Mouse.
Kalle Anka & C:o is a Swedish weekly Disney comics magazine, published by Egmont. The 52-page comic, launched in September 1948, is the overall best-selling Swedish comic magazine. In the early years, the comic printed translated stories from the United States, including Walt Disney's Comics and Stories, Four Color and other Dell Comics Disney titles. As Disney comics production waned in the United States in the 1960s, Kalle Anka began printing more European-produced content, from Scandinavia and Italy. Now, Kalle Anka & C:o and its Scandinavian sister editions Anders And & Co. (Denmark) and Donald Duck & Co (Norway) are identical, apart from the language.

David Gerstein is an American comics author and editor as well as an animation historian. Gerstein has five books and countless comic book credits to his name. He has written many Disney comics stories, usually featuring Mickey Mouse and/or Donald Duck and provided American English script doctoring for Mickey and Donald stories that were originally written in a different language. Past employments include Egmont Creative A/S, a Danish comics studio, and Gemstone Publishing. His current work is with various affiliates of Egmont, and Fantagraphics Books.
The fourth wave of Walt Disney Treasures was released December 7, 2004. This is the only wave that comes in White cases, and is the final wave that is in double DVD cases. Starting with this wave, the side strap was replaced with seal wrap with stickers and the back was no longer printed on the tin but included as a card glued to the back.

Its subsidiary division, Gladstone Publishing was founded in 1985 to handle non-Barks Disney comics. Several times throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Gladstone became the major publisher of Disney comics in the United States.
The Complete Carl Barks Disney Library is a series of books collecting all of the comic book Donald Duck and Uncle Scrooge stories written and drawn by Carl Barks, originally published between 1942 and Barks' retirement in June 1966. The series was launched in late 2011, and will comprise 6,000 plus pages over roughly 30 200- to 240-page volumes when it is finished.
Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse is a 2011–2018 series of books collecting the span of work by Floyd Gottfredson on the daily Mickey Mouse comic strip in twelve volumes, as well as Gottfredson's Sunday strips of the same title over two separate volumes.
