Blood, Sweat & Tears is a jazz rock music group founded in New York City in 1967. They are noted for their combination of brass and rock band instrumentation. TheArts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora is a hub for arts, culture, education, creativity and entrepreneurship in Christchurch, New Zealand. It has become a worldwide instrumental standard that has sold around 10 million copies. It was a number-one hit in Italy, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and sold over five million copies by the end of 1967. Rosso was awarded a gold disc. On 9 January 1965, it reached the number-two position in Australia and stayed in the charts for 19 weeks, and in the United Kingdom it peaked at number eight on the Record Retailer singles chart. In the United States, it reached number 32 in the Billboard Easy Listening charts. In Canada, the song reached number 24 in the RPM Adult Contemporary charts.
Paul Lovatt-Cooper is an English percussionist and composer. He currently holds the position of Director of Music at Factory Transmedia, and is the Managing Director of his music company PLC Music. Lovatt-Cooper is also Composer in Association with the Black Dyke Band.
Fabulous is the 15th album by Scottish singer Sheena Easton, released in November 2000. The album charted in the UK at #185 and contains Euro Hi-NRG cover versions of hit songs from the 1970s and '80s, most of them disco classics. The album also contains two original compositions. Margaret Howe Lovatt is a volunteer naturalist from Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. In the 1960s, she took part in a NASA-funded research project in which she attempted to teach a dolphin named Peter to understand and mimic human speech. As a child, she was inspired by a book called Miss Kelly, a story about a cat who communicated with humans. This inspired her to research teaching animals to speak human language.
