The Ministry of Finance (Albanian : Ministria e Financave) of Kosovo is a department of the Government of Kosovo in charge of public finances of Kosovo. The headquarters are on Mother Teresa Street in Pristina. [1]

Kosovo, officially the Republic of Kosovo, is a partially recognised state in Southeast Europe. It lies at the centre of the Balkans, occupying an area of 10,887 km2 (4,203 sq mi), with a population of about 1.8 million. Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008, and has since gained diplomatic recognition as a sovereign state by 97 member states of the United Nations. It is bordered by Serbia to the north and east, North Macedonia to the southeast, Albania to the southwest, and Montenegro to the west. Most of central Kosovo is dominated by the vast plains and fields of Metohija and Kosovo. The Accursed Mountains and Šar Mountains rise in the southwest and southeast, respectively. Its capital and largest city is Pristina.
The Kosovo Liberation Army was an ethnic Albanian separatist militia that sought the separation of Kosovo, the vast majority of which is inhabited by Albanians, from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) and Serbia during the 1990s. Albanian nationalism was a central tenet of the KLA and many in its ranks supported the creation of a Greater Albania, which would encompass all Albanians in the Balkans, stressing Albanian culture, ethnicity and nation. Throughout its existence the KLA was designated as a terrorist group by FRY.
Lëvizja Vetëvendosje is a political party in Kosovo. It is orientated towards principles of social democracy, progressivism, and Albanian nationalism.
The accession of Serbia to the European Union (EU) has been on the current agenda for the future enlargement of the EU since 2012, when it became a candidate for accession. Serbia officially applied for European Union membership on 22 December 2009. Accession negotiations are currently ongoing. Serbia is expected to complete its negotiations by the end of 2024, allowing it to join the Union by 2025.
Rexhep Mitrovica was a Prime Minister of Albania's government under Nazi Germany. A staunch nationalist, he was elected head of the Second League of Prizren.
Aleksandar Vučić is a Serbian politician serving as the president of Serbia since 2017, and as the president of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) since 2012.
Kosovo made its Olympic debut as a member state in 2016. Its team is organized by the Olympic Committee of Kosovo (OCK), created in 1992 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee on 9 December 2014. It won its first medal in its debut appearance in 2016, when judoka Majlinda Kelmendi took gold in the women's -52 kg category. In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Nora Gjakova won gold in the women's judo -57 kg class, and Distria Krasniqi won gold in the women's judo -48 kg class.
International recognition of Kosovo, since its declaration of independence from Serbia enacted on 17 February 2008, has been mixed, and international governments are divided on the issue.
Kosovo was a part of several international sports federations in the 1990s, and has applied to become a member of many more after its 2008 declaration of independence from Serbia.
Japanese–Kosovan relations are foreign relations between Japan and Kosovo. Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on February 17, 2008, and Japan recognized it on March 18, 2008. According to the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan and Kosovo established diplomatic relations on February 25, 2009.
Kosovo unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008, a move which Serbia rejects. KSF is tasked with defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kosovo, military support for civil authorities, and participation in international peacekeeping missions and operations. Since 2018, it is in the process of transforming into the Kosovo Armed Forces, a process that is expected to take 10 years.

The 2021–22 Football Superleague of Kosovo season, also known as the BKT Superleague of Kosovo for sponsorship reasons with Banka Kombëtare Tregtare is the 23rd season of top-tier football in Kosovo. The season began on 21 August 2021 and will end on 12 June 2022. A total of 10 teams are competing in the league: seven teams from the 2020–21 season and three teams from the 2020–21 First Football League of Kosovo. Prishtina are the defending champions from the previous season.
Bedri Hamza is a politician and administrator in Kosovo. He has been the Republic of Kosovo's finance minister on two occasions, has served three terms in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, was governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo from 2013 to 2017, and is the current mayor of Mitrovica. Hamza is a prominent member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
Agim Krasniqi is a Kosovo Albanian economist, civil servant and politician, who served on various capacities in the Ministry of Finance. Following his tenure as director of the state aid department, he was appointed deputy minister of finance in January 2015. He then served as minister from August to September 2017. He was once again appointed deputy minister in 2020. Following Hykmete Bajrami's resignation on 24 February 2021, Krasniqi became acting minister until 22 March 2021, when he was succeeded by Hekuran Murati.
