The Ministry of Finance (Albanian : Ministria e Financave) of Kosovo is a department of the Government of Kosovo in charge of public finances of Kosovo. The headquarters are on Mother Teresa Street in Pristina. [1]

Kosovo Partially recognised state in Southeastern Europe

Kosovo, officially the Republic of Kosovo, is a partially recognised state in Southeast Europe. It lies at the centre of the Balkans, occupying an area of 10,887 km2 (4,203 sq mi), with a population of about 1.8 million. Kosovo unilaterally declared its independence from Serbia on 17 February 2008, and has since gained diplomatic recognition as a sovereign state by 97 member states of the United Nations. It is bordered by Serbia to the north and east, North Macedonia to the southeast, Albania to the southwest, and Montenegro to the west. The Kosovo Liberation Army was an ethnic Albanian separatist militia that sought the separation of Kosovo, the vast majority of which is inhabited by Albanians, from the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) and Serbia during the 1990s. Albanian nationalism was a central tenet of the KLA and many in its ranks supported the creation of a Greater Albania, which would encompass all Albanians in the Balkans, stressing Albanian culture, ethnicity and nation. Throughout its existence the KLA was designated as a terrorist group by FRY.

KSF is tasked with defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kosovo, military support for civil authorities, and participation in international peacekeeping missions and operations. 2021–22 Football Superleague of Kosovo Football league season

The 2021–22 Football Superleague of Kosovo season, also known as the BKT Superleague of Kosovo for sponsorship reasons with Banka Kombëtare Tregtare is the 23rd season of top-tier football in Kosovo. The season began on 21 August 2021 and will end on 12 June 2022. A total of 10 teams are competing in the league: seven teams from the 2020–21 season and three teams from the 2020–21 First Football League of Kosovo. Prishtina are the defending champions from the previous season.

Bedri Hamza is a politician and administrator in Kosovo. He has been the Republic of Kosovo's finance minister on two occasions, has served three terms in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, was governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo from 2013 to 2017, and is the current mayor of Mitrovica. Hamza is a prominent member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.

Agim Krasniqi is a Kosovo Albanian economist, civil servant and politician, who served on various capacities in the Ministry of Finance. Following his tenure as director of the state aid department, he was appointed deputy minister of finance in January 2015. He then served as minister from August to September 2017. He was once again appointed deputy minister in 2020. Following Hykmete Bajrami's resignation on 24 February 2021, Krasniqi became acting minister until 22 March 2021, when he was succeeded by Hekuran Murati.
