He was the president of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) from 2005 to 2023. On 8th January 2024, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani appointed as Minister of Sports and Youth.

Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi is the Qatari Attorney General. Previously he had served as the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for the Council of Ministers Affairs from 2018 until 2021. He was succeeded Masoud al Ameri.

Masoud bin Mohammed Al Ameri is the Qatari Minister of Justice. He was appointed as minister on 17 June 2021.
