Miss Venezuela is a Venezuelan beauty pageant operated by the Cisneros Group. Founded in 1952, it currently selects Venezuelan representatives to Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss International. The current national director of Miss Venezuela is Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler.
Vivian Inés Urdaneta Rincón is a Venezuelan journalist and beauty queen who captured the crown of Miss International 2000.
Miss World 1998, the 48th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 26 November 1998 at the Lake Berjaya Mahé Resort in Mahé Island, Seychelles. 86 delegates from around the world competed for the crown. Ronan Keating, then lead singer of Boyzone, and MTV's Eden Harel hosted the event. This year's winner, Israel's Linor Abargil, revealed days after the competition that she had been raped several weeks before the pageant. She was crowned by Miss World 1997, Diana Hayden of India.
Miss International 2006, the 46th Miss International pageant, was held both in Tokyo, Japan, and Beijing, China. The contestants arrived in Tokyo, Japan on October 12 and the finals was held on November 11, 2006, at the Beijing Exhibition Center in Beijing, China. 53 contestants competed. Precious Lara Quigaman of the Philippines crowned her successor Daniela Di Giacomo of Venezuela.
Miss Earth 2005, the 5th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on October 23, 2005, in Quezon City, Philippines. A total of 80 candidates from around the globe took part in the event.
Miss Venezuela 2000 was the 47th Miss Venezuela pageant. It was held in Caracas, Venezuela, on September 8, 2000, after weeks of events. The winner of the pageant was Eva Ekvall, Miss Apure.
Miss International 2005, the 45th Miss International pageant, was held on September 26, 2005 at the Koseinenkin Hall in Tokyo, Japan. 52 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Jeymmy Vargas of Colombia crowned her successor Lara Quigaman of the Philippines as the new Miss International. She became the fourth Filipino to win the pageant.
Miss International 2001, the 41st Miss International pageant, was held on October 4, 2001 at the Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo, Japan. At the end of the event, Vivian Urdaneta of Venezuela crowned her successor Małgorzata Rożniecka of Poland.
Miss International 2002, the 42nd Miss International pageant, was held on 30 September 2002 in Tokyo, Japan at the Century Hyatt. Małgorzata Rożniecka of Poland crowned her successor Christina Sawaya of Lebanon at the end of the event.
Miss International 1999, the 39th Miss International pageant, was held on 14 December 1999 at the U-Port Hall in Tokyo, Japan and hosted by Masumi Okada and Mari Christine. Paulina Gálvez of Colombia was crowned at the end of the event, becoming the second titleholder from her country to win Miss International.
Miss World 2009, the 59th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 12 December 2009 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. 112 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown, marking the biggest turnout in the pageant's history. Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia crowned her successor Kaiane Aldorino of Gibraltar at the end of event. It is the first time that someone from Gibraltar won Miss World. In the past, people from mainland Britain have won.
Reina Hispanoamericana is an annual beauty pageant celebrating Hispanic heritage, language and culture, started in 1991 as Reina Sudamericana, is based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Up to 2003 the participants were restricted to the 10 countries in South America; in 2004 participants from Panama and Costa Rica in Central America were invited; and in 2006 participants from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Portugal & Spain joined. In 2007 Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras & United States were added, and the name changed to Reina Hispanoamericana. In 2008, Curaçao and Haiti were added. In 2017, the Philippines, Canada, and Australia were added. In 2023, Indonesia was added.
Miss World 1969 was the 19th edition of the Miss World pageant, held for the first time at the Royal Albert Hall on 27 November 1969, broadcast for the first time in colour by the BBC. 50 delegates vied for the crown won by Eva Rueber-Staier of Austria. She was crowned by actor Omar Sharif, not by Miss World 1968 winner Penelope Plummer of Australia.

Finally, Tania Verstak from Australia was crowned as Miss International 1962 by outgoing titleholder, Stam van Baer from Holland.

Finally, Lidija Manić from Yugoslavia crown as Miss International 1975 by outgoing titleholder, Brucene Smith from United States.
Miss International 2013, the 53rd Miss International pageant, was held on December 17, 2013 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Alejandra Andreu, Miss International 2008, crowned Bea Santiago of the Philippines at the end of the event. This was the second consecutive year Japan hosted the pageant.
