Miss Rodeo USA is an annual pageant to select the official spokesperson for the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA).

On January 16, 2022, Jessie Lynn Nichols was crowned Miss Rodeo USA 2022 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The ceremony was held during the 52nd International Finals Rodeo. Nichols hails from Prattville, Alabama. The event occurs annually at the IFR. [1]

Current Miss Rodeo USA 2022

Jessie Lynn Nichols is Miss Rodeo USA for 2022. Nichols is the 57th woman to wear the crown. She is also the 11th woman to hold the title from the Yellowhammer State. She will travel throughout the United States and Canada as the ambassador for the IPRA promoting professional rodeo. [2]

Miss Rodeo USA 2020

Brooke Wallace was Miss Rodeo USA for 2020 and the 55th woman to wear the crown. Hailing from Council Grove, Kansas, she was the first to hold the title from the Sunflower State.

History

The Miss Rodeo USA Association has represented the IPRA for more than five decades. The pageant is open to cowgirls around the nation, who have won the title each January in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. [1]

Miss Teen Rodeo USA

The inaugural Miss Teen Pageant, for ages 13-17, was held mid-July, 2021, at International Finals Youth Rodeo in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Contestants must be able to perform a Horsemanship pattern and ride in a Grand entry. [14] Lana Carter of Crossett, Arkansas, was the winner. [15]

Miss Georgia Teen USA Beauty pageant competition

The Miss Georgia Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Georgia in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is directed Greenwood Productions under the ownership of Miss Tennessee USA 1989 Kim Greenwood. The pageant is hosted on McDonough, Georgia.

The Miss Oklahoma competition selects a winner to compete on behalf of Oklahoma in the Miss America pageant. Miss Oklahoma has won the Miss America crown on five occasions. Also, in the years when city representatives were common, Norma Smallwood won, competing as Miss Tulsa, giving the state of Oklahoma a total of six crowns. Oklahoma is also one of three states to win back to back Miss America titles.

The Miss Oregon competition is a regional scholarship competition and beauty pageant that selects the representative for the US state of Oregon in the Miss America pageant. The annual event includes contestants from across the state and awards scholarships to the participants.

Miss USA 1996

Miss USA 1996 was the 45th Miss USA pageant, held at South Padre Island Convention Centre on South Padre Island, Texas culminating in the final competition and crowning on February 2, 1996.

Miss USA 1995

Miss USA 1995 was the 44th Miss USA pageant, held at South Padre Island Convention Centre on South Padre Island, Texas culminating in the final competition and crowning on February 10, 1995.

Miss Teen USA 1993, the 11th Miss Teen USA pageant, was televised live from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi on 10 August 1993.

The Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Alabama in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant.

The United States has continuously sent a representative to Miss World since its inception in 1951. The United States has won the Miss World crown three times in 1973, 1990 and 2010. Currently, Miss World America is the official national pageant that selects the contestant from the United States to Miss World.

International Professional Rodeo Association

The International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) is the second-largest American rodeo organization in the world. It sanctions rodeos in the United States and Canada, with members from said countries, as well as others. Its championship event is the International Finals Rodeo (IFR), held every January.

Cheslie Kryst American television correspondent, model, Miss USA 2019 (1991–2022)

Cheslie Corrinne Kryst was an American television correspondent, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss USA 2019. As Miss USA, she represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2019 competition and finished in the top ten. Kryst was also an attorney and had served as a correspondent for Extra from October 2019 until her death. For her work on Extra, she was nominated for two Daytime Emmy Awards.

Miss USA 2020 was the 69th Miss USA pageant. Originally scheduled to be held in spring 2020, the competition was postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later rescheduled for November 9, 2020 at the Exhibition Centre and the Soundstage at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Allie LaForce served as hosts, while Cheslie Kryst and Christian Murphy served as backstage commentators, and Haley Reinhart performed. Cheslie Kryst of North Carolina crowned Asya Branch of Mississippi as her successor at the end of the event. This is Mississippi's first win at the Miss USA pageant. Branch represented the United States at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant and placed in the Top 21.
