Chris McHugh is an American musician. He began his career as the drummer of Christian rock band White Heart from 1986 to 1989. He also worked in the recording of several of their later albums.
The 48th Annual Grammy Awards took place on February 8, 2006, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California honoring the best in music for the recording year beginning from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005. Irish rock band U2 were the main recipients with five awards including Album of the Year. Mariah Carey, John Legend, and Kanye West were each nominated for eight awards and won three; Alison Krauss & Union Station also won three awards; and Kelly Clarkson won two. Green Day were amongst the big winners, winning the Grammy Award for Record of the Year.
Storm in the Heartland is the third album from country music artist Billy Ray Cyrus. Released in 1994 on Mercury Records, it produced the singles "Storm in the Heartland", "Deja Blue", and "One Last Thrill", the first two of which entered the Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. The album itself was certified gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 copies.
Love a Little Stronger is the third studio album by American country music band Diamond Rio. Released in 1994 on Arista Records, the album was certified platinum by the RIAA for sales of one million copies in the U.S. Four singles were released from the album: the title track, followed by "Night Is Fallin' in My Heart", "Bubba Hyde", and finally "Finish What We Started". Respectively, these songs reached #2, #9, #16 and #19 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. A demo version of the song, recorded by 4 Runner in 1994, can be found on 4 Runner's 2003 album Getaway Car. Former 4 Runner vocalist Billy Crittenden co-wrote the song.
Emerson Drive is the third studio album from Canadian country music band Emerson Drive and their major-label debut, it was released in 2002 on DreamWorks Records Nashville. It produced three singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts: the Top 5 hits "I Should Be Sleeping" and "Fall Into Me", as well as the number 23-peaking "Only God ". This latter song was originally recorded by Billy Ray Cyrus on his 1994 album Storm in the Heartland, and in 1999 by Lari White on White's album Stepping Stone.
"Could've Been Me" is a song written by Reed Nielsen and Monty Powell, and performed by American country music artist Billy Ray Cyrus. It was released in July 1992 as the second single from his multi-platinum selling debut album, Some Gave All. The song reached number 2 on the U.S. Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, and it also reached number 1 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart. It was the follow-up to the number 1 song, "Achy Breaky Heart".
Joe Neil Thrasher Jr. is an American country music singer and songwriter. Between 1995 and 1997, he and Kelly Shiver comprised the duo Thrasher Shiver, which recorded a studio album for Asylum Records in 1996 and charted two singles on the Billboard country charts in early 1997. Although Thrasher Shiver has not been active since 1997, Thrasher has written several singles for other country music artists, such as Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Diamond Rio, and Montgomery Gentry. Thrasher has also received an ASCAP Songwriter of the Year award in 2004.
Clayton Bernard "Clay" Mills is an American songwriter. His credits include the #1 hits "Beautiful Mess" by Diamond Rio and "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" by Darius Rucker, which won Mills an award from ASCAP. Other country music artists who have charted with his singles include Andy Griggs and Trisha Yearwood. Clay has had over 200 songs recorded worldwide, 16 ASCAP awards, and received Grammy nominations for his singles "Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love" and "Beautiful Mess." Along with Marty Dodson he is the co-founder of the highly successful songwriter training site SongTown.com. Clay is also the co-author of Mastering Melody Writing, a best-selling book for songwriters.
Thomas Stevenson Douglas is an American country music songwriter. He has written Top 10 Billboard Country hits for John Michael Montgomery, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Collin Raye, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and others.
"Words by Heart" is a song written by Reed Nielsen and Monty Powell, and recorded by American country music singer, Billy Ray Cyrus. It was released in January 1994 as the third single from his platinum-selling second album, It Won't Be the Last. The song was the follow-up to "Somebody New". "Words by Heart" reached a peak of number 12 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks, and number 19 on the U.S. Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. It also gained play in Canada, where it reached number 14.
