More Family Time is an album by Jamaican musician Ziggy Marley, released in 2020 and featuring numerous special guests including Alanis Morissette, [1] Busta Rhymes, [2] Sheryl Crow, [1] Lisa Loeb, [3] Tom Morello, [4] and Ben Harper. [5]
A portion of the proceeds from More Family Time will be given to Marley's 501(c)3 URGE. [1] [4]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, Marley found himself preoccupied with family issues and homelife which led to writing a follow-up to his 2009 children's album Family Time . [2] Marley recorded the album in his home studio and then reached out to friends to add to the tracks. [2]
The album featured Marley's family [4] and was inspired by many of their activities. [3]
We kind of adapted our lifestyle; we started doing things as a family we wouldn’t normally have done if the kids were in school," he explains. "We made up our own camp games, and did stuff outside, and everything we did at that time, outside of making that album, was part of the creative process. [3]
One song, "My Dog Romero", is about the family dog, a lagotto Romagnolo, [6] adopted shortly before the pandemic began. [2]

David Nesta "Ziggy" Marley is a Jamaican reggae musician. He is the son of reggae icon Bob Marley and Rita Marley. He led the family band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers until 2002, with whom he released eight studio albums. It is considered to be the largest open air festival in Switzerland and the largest hip hop music festival in Europe. The event has been held since 1985. It used to be a rock and blues festival called Out in the Green Festival, which also took place in Winterthur. It was changed to Openair Frauenfeld in 2007. It has hosted numerous high-profile celebrities and has attracted an annual turnout of around 150,000 people. Some of the top headliners who performed at Openair Frauenfeld include Jay-Z, Eminem, Kanye West, Macklemore, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Cardi B, Wiz Khalifa, J.
