Earlier, the same name released one film directed by Shibli Sadik and the film starring Salman Shah and Shabnur. But this film is not a remake or sequel of the previous film.

The film was released worldwide on 22 August 2018. The film won five awards including Best Director and Best Actor at the 43rd Bangladesh National Film Awards.
