Michael Antoine Crooms (born October 5, 1970), better known by his stage name Mr. Collipark (and also known as DJ Smurf), is an American hip hop producer and the president of his own Atlanta-based record label, ColliPark Music, which was founded in 1999. [2]

The name Collipark was derived from the city of College Park, Georgia. Crooms is credited as playing a major role in the career of the Ying Yang Twins, [3] Soulja Boy, Taurus, Hurricane Chris, V.I.C., and Vistoso Bosses.

In 2005, Mr. Collipark was featured on Bubba Sparxxx's single "Ms. New Booty", which peaked at number seven on the Billboard Hot 100. [4] In 2007, Mr. Collipark won BMI's "Songwriter of the Year" award. [5] He was also nominated for a 2008 Grammy for his work with Soulja Boy. [6]

In 2011, Mr. Collipark debuted his mixtape Can I Have the Club Back Please, which features tracks from artists including Translee, Treal Lee & Prince Rick and the Ying Yang Twins. [7]

Crooms founded his record label ColliPark Music in 1999. He has signed various artists to the label including Soulja Boy, Ying Yang Twins and Vistoso Bosses. As of 2013, there are rumors of Mr. Collipark signing a distribution deal with Epic Records for the label.

Also included is the most recent single "Bedroom Boom" featuring Avant, plus five previously unreleased songs.

The Charm is the third studio album by American hip hop recording artist Bubba Sparxxx from Georgia. It was released on April 4, 2006 via Purple Ribbon Records and Virgin Records, a follow-up to Deliverance. Unlike the previous installments, it is the first album to have very little input from Timbaland, with production being handled and provided by Mr. Collipark and Organized Noize, and Big Boi serving as executive producer on the album. The guest appearances featured on the album were fellow rappers Cool Breeze, Petey Pablo, Duddy Ken, Killer Mike and the Ying Yang Twins, and singers Frankie J, Scar and Sleepy Brown.

The album was mostly produced by Soulja Boy, along with several record producers such as Drumma Boy, Jim Jonsin, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Zaytoven, as well as the guest appearances from Gucci Mane, Shawty Lo and Yo Gotti, among others. Vistoso Bosses were an American duo made up of Taylah P. and Kelci from Atlanta, Georgia. They debuted with the single "Delirious" produced by STJAMES, featuring Soulja Boy Tell 'Em, taken from their 2009 shelved album Confetti. They were also the first women signed to the Collipark Label, founded by Mr. Collipark aka Michael Crooms. They were featured on Space Cowboy's album: the song Party Like Animal.

The DeAndre Way is the third studio album by American rapper Soulja Boy. It was released on November 30, 2010, by his label Stacks on Deck Entertainment, Collipark Music and Interscope Records.

Atlanta has a thriving music industry and is considered to be a capital of hip-hop including crunk, of R&B and its offshoot neo-soul, and of gospel music - in addition to a thriving indie-rock and live music scene. "Whistle While You Twurk" is the debut single by American hip hop group Ying Yang Twins. It was released on March 12, 2000 as the lead single from their debut studio album Thug Walkin' (2000). Produced by Mr. Collipark, the song contains an interpolation of the song "Whistle While You Work" from the 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. There are two remixes of the song: the "ColliPark Remix", and the "E.A. Mix", which features DJ Kizzy Rock and Mr. Ball.
