Each year the Mr. Georgia Basketball award is given to the person chosen as the best high school boys basketball player in the U.S. state of Georgia. The award winner is selected by members of the Atlanta Tip Off Club. [1]

Marietta is a city in and the county seat of Cobb County, Georgia, United States. At the 2020 census, the city had a population of 60,972. The 2019 estimate was 60,867, making it one of Atlanta's largest suburbs. Marietta is the fourth largest of the principal cities by population of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
The Naismith College Player of the Year is an annual basketball award given by the Atlanta Tipoff Club to the top men's and women's collegiate basketball players. It is named in honor of James Naismith, the inventor of basketball.
Fayette County High School (FCHS) is located in Fayetteville, Georgia, United States. It was named a National Blue Ribbon School in 1999 and a Georgia School of Excellence in 2000. The school enrolls approximately 1,322 students in grades 9-12. Fayette County High is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school's mascot is a tiger.
Westlake High School is a comprehensive public high school located in unincorporated Fulton County, Georgia and is accredited by the Georgia Department of Education and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The academic growth rate for Westlake students was higher than 95% of schools in the state and was above the state average in college readiness in 2019.
Sequoyah High School is a public high school located in Hickory Flat, Georgia, United States. It educates students in grades 9–12. It opened in the fall of 1990 and is one of six high schools in Cherokee County.
Marietta High School is a public high school in Marietta, Georgia, United States, part of the Marietta City School District as the only high school inside the city limits. The school's mascot is the Blue Devil.
Carlton J. Kell High School is a public high school in the Cobb County School District in the US state of Georgia. The school is located in unincorporated Cobb County with a Marietta address, just northwest of Atlanta. The school was founded in 2002 and serves students in the Cobb County area. It is also an Advanced Placement Certified School.
Allatoona High School is one of eighteen public high school in the Cobb County School District. The institution opened in the fall of 2008, and is currently the most recent high school in the district. It is located in suburban Acworth, Georgia, north of Atlanta, in the United States. The school is named after the nearby Lake Allatoona.
The Pac-12 Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year is a basketball award given to the Pac-12 Conference's most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1986–87 season, the first year in which the league then known as the Pacific-10 Conference (Pac-10) officially sponsored women's sports.
D'Marcus Simonds is an American basketball player. He played college basketball for Georgia State. He was named the 2017–18 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year as well as the Georgia Men’s College Co-Player of the Year.
Anthony Edwards, nicknamed "Ant-Man" or simply "Ant", is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association (NBA). A shooting guard, he played college basketball for the University of Georgia Bulldogs and was selected with the first overall pick by the Timberwolves in the 2020 NBA draft. He was named an All-Star during the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.

Isaac Nnamdi Okoro is an American professional basketball player for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Auburn Tigers. Listed at 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) and 225 pounds (102 kg), he plays the small forward position.
Arik Dasan Gilbert is a former American football tight end for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He has also played for both the LSU Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs.
Sterling "Scoot" Henderson is an American professional basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played for Carlton J. Kell High School in his hometown of Marietta, Georgia, where he was a five-star recruit. At age 17, Henderson signed with the NBA G League Ignite after graduating early from high school and became the youngest player in G League history. In his second season, he was selected as a captain of the G League Next Up Game. Henderson was drafted as the 3rd pick in the 2023 NBA draft by the Blazers.
Isaiah Jaden Collier is an American college basketball player. He played college basketball for the USC Trojans of the Pac-12 Conference. He was a consensus five-star recruit and one of the top players in the 2023 class.
Bruce Thornton is an American college basketball player for the Ohio State Buckeyes of the Big Ten Conference.
Terrell Burden is an American college basketball player for the Kennesaw State Owls.
