Mr. Men and Little Miss (known in the United States as The Mr. Men Show and in French as Monsieur Bonhomme) is a 1995 French-British animated children's television series based on the original Mr. Men and Little Miss books created in the 1970s and 1980s by British author Roger Hargreaves and his son Adam Hargreaves. It was also created by Roger Hargreaves. [1] The series was a co-production of Marina Productions and France 3 and aired on CITV in the United Kingdom (later reairing on Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Channel 5) and France 3 in France. The series has Jimmy MacDonald's cartoon sound effects.

Ronald Gordon King-Smith OBE, was an English writer of children's books, primarily using the pen name Dick King-Smith. He is best known for The Sheep-Pig (1983). <i>Allegras Window</i> American childrens television series

Allegra's Window is an American musical children's television series that aired on Nickelodeon during its Nick Jr. block from October 24, 1994, to December 8, 1996, with reruns being shown until February 5, 1999; it was later shown on Noggin from February 2, 1999, to April 6, 2003. The series deals with the daily life of a precocious, imaginative puppet character named Allegra, and featured live actors, puppets and animation similar to that of Sesame Street. The show was created by Jan Fleming, John Hoffman and Jim Jinkins, the latter of whom is also the creator of Doug. Two of the puppeteers, Kathryn Mullen and Anthony Asbury, would later work together on the PBS series Between the Lions as the performers of Lionel and Leona Lion.

Adam Hargreaves is an English author and illustrator. The son of the late Roger Hargreaves, he continues his father's successful Mr. Men series of children's books. The younger Hargreaves reputedly served as inspiration for the series. At the age of 8, he asked his father "What does a tickle look like?", and Roger was inspired by that question to create the first book, Mr. Tickle, published in August 1971.

The Mr. Men Show is a remake of the French series, Mr. Men and Little Miss. It is virtually identical to the original British version, apart from added live-action skits, actors and actresses, theme song, and credits. Its original airing was in Canada, and it aired in the United States started in the fall of 1997, being syndicated by The Summit Media Group. In the Canadian/American version, there were live-action characters called "the Mr. Men Players", including the News Lady, the Game Show Guy, a carpenter with his assistant, and a mad scientist with her assistant, among others.
