Munzali Jibril

Munzali Jibril is a Nigerian emeritus professor of English, and the former Executive Secretary of the National University Commission. He is also a former Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano State, Nigeria. He was the coordinator of the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil. He was appointed in 2010 by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan. He is currently the Pro-chancellor of Federal University Lafia. [1]

Jibril was also the 20th President and Chairman of Council for the Nigerian Institute of Management. [2] He had his Bachelor's, Masters and doctorate degree in art from Ahmadu Bello University, University of Leeds and University of Lancaster respectively. He is considered an expert in higher education. [3]

Reuben Adeleye Abati is a Nigerian Journalist, Politician, Television Anchor and Newspaper Columnist. He was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s Deputy Governorship candidate in Ogun State for the 2019 Gubernatorial election. Abati was Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria between Year 2011 and 2015. He was previously a newspaper columnist and the chairman of the editorial board of the Nigerian newspaper The Guardian from 2001 to 2011. He is a graduate of Theater Arts from the University of Calabar. Equally important, Reuben Abati is a Senior Research Associate with the Olusegun Obasanjo Centre for Cultural Studies and National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

Nkechi Justina Nwaogu, is a Nigerian politician and banker, founder and CEO Libra Investment. She is the former Chairman Governing Council and Pro Chancellor University of Calabar. Colonel (retired) Jibril Bala Yakubu was the first Administrator of Zamfara State after it was created from part of Sokoto State in October 1996, holding office until the return to democracy in May 1999 during the military regimes of Generals Sani Abacha and Abdulsalami Abubakar. As Zamfara administrator, Yakubu created five Emirates in the state and eleven new District Councils. After handing over to the civilian governor Ahmed Sani Yerima in May 1999, as a former military administrator he was required to retire from the army.

Jibril Muhammad Aminu is a professor of cardiology. He was Nigerian Ambassador to the USA (1999–2003) and was elected Senator for Adamawa Central constituency of Adamawa State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2003. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

On 8 June 2010, he was nominated by then President Goodluck Jonathan as the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), subject to Senate confirmation, as a replacement for Professor Maurice Iwu, who vacated the post on 28 April 2010. Jega was the only INEC chairman to oversee two Nigerian General Elections. Jega retired on 30 June 2015, handing over his position to Amina Zakari according to a directive by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Solomon Ehigiator Arase is a retired Nigerian police officer. He is currently the Chairman of the Nigeria Police Service Commission. Prof Sebastian Maimako is a Nigerian academic and professor of accounting and finance. He was the 9th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos. He was appointed by the Governing Council of the university to succeed Professor Hayward Mafuyai and was in office from 23 June 2016, until 23 June 2021, after finishing five years as a Vice-Chancellor. He was regarded as one of the best Vice-Chancellor the University Community will ever have.

Mohammed Akaro Mainoma is a professor of Accounting and Finance from University of Abuja. He is the immediate past Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Nassarawa. He is recently appointed as the President of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
