Mutts formed in 2009 with Mike Maimone and Bob Buckstaff after the two met as touring members of Company of Thieves and bonded over a love of Tom Waits. They recorded and toured with several drummers until 2011, when Chris Pagnani joined the band. [1] The group released their first EP, We Float, in 2010 via 8eat8 Records. [2] Mutts released their first full-length album, Pray For Rain, in 2011. [3]
In 2012, Mutts released their second full-length album, Separation Anxiety. [4] [5] Mutts released their third full-length album, Object Permanence, in 2013. [6] [7] 2014 saw the prominent usage of "God, Country, Grave," off of Separation Anxiety, on the Cinemax series Banshee, recurring several times throughout the Season 2 premiere. [8]

Siouxsie and the Banshees were a British rock band formed in London in 1976 by vocalist Siouxsie Sioux and bass guitarist Steven Severin. They have been widely influential, both over their contemporaries and with later acts. Q magazine included John McKay's guitar playing on "Hong Kong Garden" in their list of "100 Greatest Guitar Tracks Ever", while Mojo rated guitarist John McGeoch in their list of "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" for his work on "Spellbound". The Times called the group "one of the most audacious and uncompromising musical adventurers of the post-punk era".
Indigo Girls are an American folk rock music duo from Atlanta, Georgia, United States, consisting of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers. The two met in elementary school and began performing together as high school students in Decatur, Georgia, part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. They started performing with the name Indigo Girls as students at Emory University, performing weekly at The Dugout, a bar in Emory Village.
Lycia is an American dark wave band formed in 1988 in Tempe, Arizona. The main personnel of the band are Mike VanPortfleet, Tara VanFlower and David Galas. Although only achieving minor cult success, the band is notable for being one of the ground breaking groups in darkwave and ethereal wave styles. Their 1995 album The Burning Circle and Then Dust received some attention for the power pop hit song "Pray," and the album "remains a high point of American dark rock," according to AllMusic. Lycia's music is characterized by rich soundscapes and layers of echoed guitars, dark and ethereal keyboards, doomy drum machine beats, VanPortfleet's melancholic, whispered vocals and Vanflower's vivid voice. Trent Reznor and Peter Steele are some of their more well-known fans.

Tinderbox is the seventh studio album by English rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees. It was the band's first full-length effort recorded with then-new guitarist John Valentine Carruthers; Carruthers had previously only added a few parts on the 1984 EP The Thorn. Company of Thieves were an American indie rock band from Chicago, Illinois, founded by Genevieve Schatz (vocals) and Marc Walloch (guitar). Their first album, Ordinary Riches, was released independently in 2007 and re-released in 2009. Their second album, Running from a Gamble, was released in 2011. The band announced they had no plans to record any new music as of January 2014, but announced a reunion in May 2017.
