My Turn is the 25th studio album by American country music artist Tanya Tucker. The album was released June 30, 2009. It is her first studio album since Tanya in 2002. My Turn consists of cover versions of country music standards, including the lead single, "Love's Gonna Live Here", "Lovesick Blues", and "Crazy Arms". [1]
My Turn consists of 12 cover versions of country music standards that were originally recorded entirely by male artists. [2] Tucker stated that she recorded the album to dedicate to her father, Beau Tucker, stating:
I picked the songs my daddy (Beau Tucker) always wanted me to sing," explained Tucker of the My Turn project. "This is really a tribute to him, because he was with me throughout my entire career. He's now with God above but I know he's watching over me still and loving these songs and this record. [3]

Allmusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine gave the album four and a half out of five stars. Erlewine critiqued Tucker's way of blending each song, stating, "Tucker isn't quite gender-bending the way Lyle Lovett did when he sang "Stand by Your Man," but rather taking these songs directly, sounding as tough as any guy as she saunters her way through "Crazy Arms" and "Lovesick Blues." Erlewine also said that, "Pete Anderson's dry, unadorned production gives this muscle and grit, perhaps the most sympathetic setting Tucker has had in decades, the triumph is all Tanya's, as she digs deep into these songs, finding new meaning within them and proving that a great covers album need not reinterpret the sound of a song in order to reinvent it." Blake Boldt of Roughstock.com also reviewed the release, and praised the album, stating how Tucker was not just remaking Country music songs like other artists had previously done before, but instead renewing each of them. Boldt also gave positive comments to Tucker's voice, saying, "Now 50, Tucker's vocal stylings remain as provocative as her well-documented wild-child past; her instantly-recognizable drawl is one of country's greatest voices ever, and every knotty note is chock full of hearty twang." Tanya Denise Tucker is an American country music singer and songwriter who had her first hit, "Delta Dawn", in 1972 at the age of 13. During her career Tucker became one of the few child performers to mature into adulthood without losing her audience; she had a streak of top-10 and top-40 hits. She has had several successful albums, several Country Music Association award nominations, and hit songs including 1973's "What's Your Mama's Name?" and "Blood Red and Goin' Down", 1975's "Lizzie and the Rainman", 1988's "Strong Enough to Bend", and 1992's "Two Sparrows in a Hurricane". Tucker's 2019 album While I'm Livin' won the Grammy Award for Best Country Album, and "Bring My Flowers Now" from that same album won Tucker a shared songwriting Grammy for Best Country Song.
When Fallen Angels Fly is the seventh studio album by American country music artist Patty Loveless, released on August 23, 1994. It reached #8 on the Top Country Albums charts and was certified Platinum for shipments of over 1,000,000 copies in the U.S. All four of its singles — "I Try to Think About Elvis," "You Don't Even Know Who I Am," "Here I Am," and "Halfway Down" — reached the Top Ten on the Hot Country Songs charts. "Old Weakness " was also recorded by Greg Holland on his 1997 album Exception to the Rule and Delbert McClinton on his 1997 album One of the Fortunate Few. What Do I Do with Me is the 19th studio album by American country music singer Tanya Tucker, released on July 2, 1991. It was her highest-placing on the Billboard charts reaching #6 in the Country albums and #48 on the Pop albums categories. The album produced four Top Five hits on the Hot Country Songs charts: "(Without You) What Do I Do with Me" and "Down to My Last Teardrop" both at number two, "Some Kind of Trouble" at number three, and "If Your Heart Ain't Busy Tonight" at number four. The track "Everything That You Want" was later covered by Reba McEntire for her 1994 album, Read My Mind.

TNT is the ninth studio album by American country music singer Tanya Tucker. It was released on November 6, 1978, by MCA Records. Working with a new producer in Jerry Goldstein, Tucker drifts away from her earlier country style to do a much more rock-based effort. She covers well-known rock songs originally performed by such artists as Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, and Chuck Berry. Tucker also covers John Prine's "Angel from Montgomery". The album was Tucker's second-highest ranked ever on the Billboard Country charts at #2, and even reached #54 in the Pop category. Released singles and their Billboard positions were: "Texas " at #5, "Not Fade Away" at #70, and "I'm the Singer, You're the Song" at #18. While not necessarily embraced by the country music establishment, the album garnered critical and commercial success. If There Was a Way is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Dwight Yoakam, released on October 30, 1990. Five of its tracks would rise into the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1991 and 1992. While I'm Livin' is the 26th studio album by American country music singer Tanya Tucker. It was released on August 23, 2019, by Fantasy Records. The album was produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings. It is Tucker's first album in a decade, since 2009's My Turn, and her first album of original material since her 2002 album, Tanya. The album earned Tucker the Grammy Award for Best Country Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards in addition to winning Best Country Song for "Bring My Flowers Now" which was also nominated for Best Country Solo Performance, and the all-genre Grammy Award for Song of the Year. Rolling Stone placed the album at number one on the publication's list of the 40 Best Country and Americana Albums of 2019 and number 24 on their list of the top 50 Albums of 2019. Tucker promoted the album throughout 2019 with the While I'm Livin' Tour and continued to support the album in the first quarter of 2020 on the Bring My Flowers Now Tour, a partnership with CMT's Next Women of Country. The COVID-19 pandemic caused the remainder of the tour to be postponed until July 2021.
