The Namibia National Labour Organisation (NANLO) is one of three national trade union centres in Namibia. NANLO was established in 2014 by Evilastus Kaaronda. After campaigning against government corruption, Kaaronda in 2012 was dismissed as general secretary of the National Union of Namibian Workers (NUNW), the national centre aligned to SWAPO, the country's ruling party. The economy of Namibia has a modern market sector, which produces most of the country's wealth, and a traditional subsistence sector. Although the majority of the population engages in subsistence agriculture and herding, Namibia has more than 200,000 skilled workers and a considerable number of well-trained professionals and managerials.
The All-Workers Militant Front is a coordination centre within the Greek trade union movement, founded on the initiative of Communist Party of Greece trade-unionists in April 1999. Among its members are unionists coming from different political backgrounds. Founding members were also cadres of DIKKI and others. PAME is critical of the official positions and leadership of the General Confederation of Greek Workers. According to its website, the trade unions that are affiliated in PAME have 415,000 members in total as of 2005. As of June 2012, according to the Communist Party of Greece, PAME affiliated unions have 850,000 members. In November 2016 PAME held its 4th National Congress with 1200 national delegates representing 13 National Federations 14 Labour Centres 451 trade unions 52 Workers' Committees. PAME is internationally affiliated with the World Federation of Trade Unions since 2000.
The National Union of Namibian Workers (NUNW) is one of three national trade union centers in Namibia. It was established in 1970 and is affiliated with SWAPO, Namibia's ruling political party.
The Trade Union Congress of Namibia (TUCNA) is one of three national trade union centres in Namibia. TUCNA was formed as a merger between the Namibia Federation of Trade Unions (NAFTU) and the Namibia People’s Social Movement (NPSM) in May 2002. The TUCNA was created by unions which rejected linkages with Namibia's ruling party, the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO).

Petrus Iilonga was a Namibian politician as well as a trade union leader and political prisoner in Robben Island. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Iilonga served as deputy minister in various ministries and was a member of the party's central committee.

Loide Lucky Shoopala Kasingo is a Namibian politician and prominent trade unionist. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Kasingo has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 1996 and was a deputy minister from 1996 to 2005. She has served as Deputy Speaker of Parliament since 2010.
Hafeni Ludwig Ndemula is a Namibian politician and trade unionist. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization, Ndemula rose to prominence in the National Union of Namibian Workers (NUNW) prior to independence. As the elected councillor of the Walvis Bay Urban constituency he was appointed to the National Council in 2001 prior to election and re-elected in 2004. Ndemula was reelected as constituency councillor in the 2010 and 2015 regional elections.
Bernhardt Martin Esau, also Bernhard or Bernard, is a Namibian politician. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Esau has been a member of the National Assembly since being nominated by President Sam Nujoma and subsequently elected in the 1994 Namibian general election.

In April 2011, an investigation against Kaaronda was launched following allegations of misconduct; specifically, Kaaronda was alleged to have made unauthorized public statements which discredited NUNW-affiliated unions.
