Neil Pryde Ltd. (Pryde Group) is a Hong Kong based Sports Group engaged in manufacturing, distribution and brand management founded by Neil Pryde who served as chairman until January 1, 2015. [1] [2]

Pryde Group is a privately held company, wholly owned by the Shriro Group. It has over 2500 employees and operations in more than 40 countries. It owns a portfolio of brands in the marine and adventure sports markets: NeilPryde, Cabrinha, JP-Australia, Imagine Surf and NP Waterwear and Accessories.

Windsurfing has been one of the Olympic sailing events at the Summer Olympics since 1984 for men and 1992 for women. All sailors use the same One Design boards, daggerboards, fins and sails. The equipment is chosen to allow racing in a wide range of sailing conditions, as during the Olympic Games events must take place as scheduled whether or not there is enough wind for planing.

He quit professional sports career in 2015 and went to study sound engineering at University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy. From 2017 he's been a musician in Estonian folktronica band OOPUS.

Demita Vega de Lille is a Mexican windsurfer, who specialized in Neil Pryde RS:X class. She represented her nation Mexico at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and later picked up a silver medal in windsurfing at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara. As of September 2014, Vega is ranked seventh in the world for the sailboard class by the International Sailing Federation, following her successes at the North American and ISAF World Championships.

Sailing competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru took place between August 3 and 10, 2019 at the Yacht Club Peruano in the city of Paracas.
