Spencer Nicholas Roditi (born August 1945) is a British hedge fund manager for George Soros, turned real estate developer. He grew up in Rhodesia Zimbabwe (now Zimbabwe).

Early life

Spencer Nicholas Roditi was born in August 1945. [1] He was educated at Peterhouse Boys' School, an independent boarding school on the outskirts of Marondera, in Zimbabwe. He graduated in 1963. [2]

Career

Roditi was George Soros's "most trusted advisor" for some years and ran his Quota Fund and Quasar International, for which he was paid £80 million in 2006. [3]

In April 2015, the Sunday Times estimated his net worth at £1.0 billion [4]

According to The Sunday Times Rich List in 2020, Roditi is worth £2 billion, an increase of £333 million from 2019. [5]

Roditi is a non-executive director of PGI Group. [6]

Personal life

In 1997 he married his wife Pamela, has a son James and lives in a Georgian house in Hampstead, London. He has an estate in South Africa, about 40 miles from Cape Town. [7]

Gosho Park

Gosho Park is a conservation area of approximately 340 hectares of land on the Springvale Estate, situated in Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe. The park, named after Patrick Gosho and owned by the Peterhouse Group of Schools, is enclosed by a 2.3 metres (7.5 ft) game fence. The park is an area of Brachystegia woodland with two streams, their associated grasslands and rocky outcrops. 237 species of birds have been recorded by the Mashonaland East Birding Group with a variety of Brachystegia species such as the spotted creeper, miombo and rufous-bellied tits. There are 72 species of trees in the area as recorded by the Tree Society.

Dawn Fitzpatrick is an American investment banker and financial officer based in New York City. She is known for her work as a hedge fund manager and as the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Soros Fund Management.
