No Wow is the second studio album by indie rock band The Kills. It was released February 21, 2005, on Domino Records. "Love Is a Deserter" was released as a single and obtained limited play on several music channels. "The Good Ones" was later released as a single and peaked at number 23 in the UK charts.

Contents

The song "No Wow" was used in the TV series Person of Interest, season 5, episode 1; "B.S.O.D." which aired on May 5, 2016. [12] It was also used in the series The Good Wife , season 4, episode 20; "Rape: A Modern Perspective" which aired on April 14, 2013. [13]

Midnight Boom is the third album by indie rock band The Kills, released on March 10, 2008, through Domino Records. It was recorded at the Key Club Recording Company in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The title refers to the hours from midnight to 6 a.m., in which the band was at the creative peak, writing material for the album.

Since 2002, The Kills have released six studio albums, four extended plays, nineteen singles, sixteen music videos, a documentary, and have contributed original material to two compilations. The Kills debuted in 2002 with the Black Rooster EP, released on Domino Records. The duo's debut full-length album, Keep on Your Mean Side, was released the following year. The album peaked at number 47 on the United Kingdom Albums Chart, while the single "Fried my Little Brains" peaked at number 55 on the UK Singles Chart. The Kills followed up with No Wow in 2005 and Midnight Boom in 2008, both of which were also released on Domino. No Wow was the first of the group's releases to chart in the United States, peaking at number 18 on the Billboard "Top Heatseekers" chart. No Wow also charted in the UK, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. The group's third album, Midnight Boom charted in a total of nine countries, including the album's first appearance on the Billboard 200 at number 133. It was released on April 1, 2011 in Australia, on April 4, 2011 in Europe, and on April 5, 2011 in the United States and Canada. The album was recorded at Key Club studio in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the same studio where the band had previously recorded both No Wow and Midnight Boom. The album was promoted by four singles: "Satellite", "Future Starts Slow", "Baby Says" and "The Last Goodbye".
