Bas Oskam, better known by his stage name Noisecontrollers, is a Dutch DJ and hardstyle music producer based in Veenendaal, Netherlands. [1] Noisecontrollers was formerly a duo before Arjan Terpstra left the project in 2013, prompting Oskam to continue as a solo act. [2] [3] [4] They are regarded as one of the pioneers of hardstyle music. [2] Since leaving the project, Terpstra has been producing music using the stage name Bloqshot, focusing on different musical styles. [5]

Career

Noisecontrollers produces melodious hardstyle sound. [6] They debuted on DJ Mag's annual Top 100 DJs ranking at 90th in 2010. [7] They have released songs on Fusion Records, Scantraxx and on their own label Digital Age. [6] They released their debut album titled "E=Nc² (The Science Of Hardstyle)". [6] In 2012, Noisecontrollers created the Defqon.1 anthem collaborating with Wildstylez and Headhunterz. [6] In 2013, they created the Decibel anthem collaborating with Alpha Twins. [6] In 2014, Oskam released All Around, the first album since Terpstra's departure from the project. [3] [8] [9] In 2014, he performed at the Defqon.1 festival in Sydney, Australia. [10] In 2015, he performed at the TomorrowWorld music festival. [11] In August 2015, he performed at Decibel Outdoor Festival. [12] In 2016, he performed with Sander van Doorn at Defqon.1. [13]

They founded the label "Digital Age" with Joram Metekohy, also known as Wildstylez. [14]

Joram Metekohy, better known by his stage name Wildstylez, is a Dutch hardstyle DJ and record producer. Having previously released hardstyle records under the alias 'Seizure', Joram Metekohy had his first solo release as Wildstylez in 2007 on the Scantraxx sub-label Scantraxx Reloaded. In 2010, he started the record label Digital:Age in collaboration with Noisecontrollers. After he stopped releasing on Digital:Age, and its subsequent collapse, Wildstylez had a string of releases on Q-Dance Records and also released many tracks for free via social media. In 2013, Wildstylez founded his own hardstyle label, Lose Control Music, under the parent label Be Yourself Music. As of 2014, he and Max Enforcer now release their own music through Lose Control Music. Later, in 2018, Wildstylez founded the label Art of Creation with Headhunterz.
