NonStop Television

NonStop Television was a Scandinavian television company, part of Turner Broadcasting System, packaging and distributing a number of specialty channels, mostly to the Nordic region. The company is a part of Millennium Media Group. The first channel, now a Nordic version of E!, launched in September 2000.

Founded by Ted Turner, and based in Atlanta, Georgia, it merged with Time Warner on October 10, 1996. Among its main properties were its namesake TBS, TNT, CNN, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, and TruTV. It also licensed or had ownership interests in international versions of these properties. The headquarters of Turner's properties are located in both the CNN Center in Downtown Atlanta, and the Turner Broadcasting campus off Techwood Drive in Midtown Atlanta, which also houses Turner Studios.

Modern Times Group (MTG) is a digital entertainment company based in Stockholm, Sweden. MTG was formed out of the media holdings of investment company Kinnevik, which in 1997 was distributed to the company stockholders. Today MTG operates as a strategic and operational investment holding company managing a unique portfolio including eSports businesses ESL and DreamHack, gaming companies InnoGames and Kongregate as well as digital network company Zoomin.TV.

Viasat is a satellite and pay television brand, co-owned by the Swedish media group Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) in the Nordic countries, Sony Pictures Television in Hungary, and by Viasat World internationally. Founded in Sweden in 1991, Viasat has previously been owned by Modern Times Group. The channels of both companies are broadcast from London.

CKCK-DT, virtual channel 2.1, is a CTV owned-and-operated television station located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Owned by Bell Media, CKCK's studios and transmitter are located on Eastgate Drive and Highway 1 East, just east of Regina proper.

Canal Digital is a Nordic pay TV and internet service provider in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland that was founded in March 1997 as a joint venture between the French pay TV company Canal+ and the Norwegian telecommunications operator Telenor. Since 2003, Canal Digital is fully owned by Telenor.

Star! Scandinavia was a television channel in northern Europe that is devoted to entertainment and celebrity news and programming. The channel was managed by Scandinavian television broadcaster NonStop Television, part of Turner Broadcasting.

Showtime Scandinavia

Showtime Scandinavia was a television channel broadcasting action movies to the Nordic countries operated by NonStop Television. Its name and logo was licensed by Showtime Networks Inc., owners of the American Showtime. The two channels however do not share any programme content.

TNT (Swedish TV channel) Swedish television channel

TNT was a commercial television channel in Sweden. The channel was launched by the tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet as Aftonbladet TV7 on 9 October 2006. Aftonbladet sold the channel in late 2007. In August 2008, it was sold once again and is since owned by NonStop Television. On 2 March 2011 the channel was relaunched as TNT7, following Turner Broadcasting System's purchase of Millennium Media Group, the owner of NonStop Television. The channel is now called TNT since the seven was dropped from the name on 21 March 2012.

Voom HD Networks

Voom HD Networks was a suite of 21 original high-definition television channels owned by Rainbow Media, a subsidiary of Cablevision. The channels were produced in Crystal Clear Hi-Definition with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and were the largest suite of HD channels in the world. As part of a 15-year agreement between Rainbow Media and Dish Network, these channels were available on that satellite platform exclusively until May 12, 2008, when Dish walked away from the contract just over two years into the deal. Left without a national distribution partner, the channels were removed from Cablevision in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut on January 20, 2009 and ceased broadcasting on the same date.

Silver (TV channel) movie television channel

Silver was a movie television channel broadcasting to the Nordic countries broadcasting quality movies, "World cinema" and independent films. The channel was managed by Scandinavian television broadcaster NonStop Television, part of Turner Broadcasting.

LUXE TV is a worldwide TV network broadcasting content related to "luxuries". The channel is based in Luxembourg but broadcasts across the world.

Voom HD was a television channel providing high-definition programming from various genres. The network was available in 35 countries in Europe and Asia.

BBC HD is an international high-definition television channel provided by BBC Studios. In many countries the channel has been replaced by other BBC Studios operations. At present, the channel is only available in Turkey, selected cruise ships and within the maritime industry.
