Edenton Historic District is a national historic district located at Edenton, Chowan County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 342 contributing buildings, 4 contributing sites, and 3 contributing structures. It includes several buildings that are individually listed on the National Register. The Lane House, possibly the oldest surviving house in North Carolina, is owned by Steve and Linda Lane and is located within the district. Also located in the district are the Dixon-Powell House, William Leary House, and Louis Ziegler House designed by architect George Franklin Barber.

Dunn House, John Withrow's Store/ House (1836), Greenbrier Valley Bank Building (1897), and Carnegie Hall (1902). Located in the district and separately listed are the Old Stone Church, Greenbrier County Courthouse and Lewis Spring, John Wesley Methodist Church, Gov. Samuel Price House, Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Supreme Court Library Building, James Withrow House, and John A. North House.

The district includes notable examples of buildings in the Italianate, Second Empire, and Queen Anne styles. Notable buildings include the Federal-style William Houston House, Clawson Hotel, Thomas Sutton House, Calvary Presbyterian Church, Zion Lutheran Church, First United Presbyterian Church, and First Methodist Episcopal Church. Old Main Street Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Dubuque, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. At the time of its nomination it consisted of 33 resources, which included 30 contributing buildings and three non-contributing buildings. In 2015 the boundaries were increased to include five more buildings. Four of the buildings are contributing properties that were excluded from the original district because they were slated to be torn down as a part of the expansion of U.S. Route 61. While the highway was built the buildings were spared. The fifth building is non-contributing as are three structures.

Located in the district are the separately listed Louisiana Public Library and Luce-Dyer House. Other notable buildings include the William C. Hardin House, James H. Johnson House, Edward G. McQuie House, St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1874), and Frank Boehm, Jr. House.

The M. C. Mulligan & Sons Quarry is a 8.8-acre (3.6 ha) historic district encompassing a former limestone quarry located at 56 Main Street in the town of Clinton in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 30, 1994, for its significance in agriculture, commerce, and industry. The listing includes six contributing buildings, two contributing structures, a contributing object, and a contributing site. In 1995, it was also listed as part of the Clinton Historic District. The quarry is now in the Red Mill Museum Village, an open-air museum.

The East Des Moines Industrial Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in the East Village of Des Moines, Iowa, United States, directly east of the Downtown Des Moines area. At the time of its nomination it consisted of 45 resources, which included 31 contributing buildings, four contributing sites, three contributing structures, six non-contributing buildings and two non-contributing structures. It also includes the Northwestern Hotel, which was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The historic district was listed on the NRHP in 2017. The district's boundaries were increased in 2023 to include another building.
