Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions softball (NCAA)

North Oak Park is the home stadium for the Division I (NCAA) Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions softball team. The stadium is located on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. Amenities include bleacher seating for 500 fans; [1] field lighting; a brick wall along the foul lines; an electronic scoreboard; dugouts; outdoor batting cages; concessions; restrooms; and locker rooms. [2]

The stadium was the home of 2005, 2014, 2021, 2022, and 2024 Southland Conference softball tournaments. [3] The 2020 Southland Conference softball tournament was also scheduled to be held at the stadium prior to the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled the tournament. [4]

The Lamar Lady Cardinals softball team represents Lamar University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team competes in the Southland Conference. The Lady Cardinals are currently led by head coach Amy Hooks. The team played its home games at the off–campus Ford Park for the first two seasons following the program restart in 2013. The Lady Cardinals began playing home games at the Lamar Softball Complex located on the university's campus starting with the 2015 season.

The Geo-Surfaces Field at the ULM Softball Complex is the home stadium for the Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks softball team. Located on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, the area the complex is built on was the former home of the Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks baseball team until the early 1980s. The complex utilizes bleacher seating, and has a capacity for over 500 people, as well as room for additional seating space along both foul lines.

The Lions are currently led by head coach Rick Fremin. The team plays its home games at North Oak Park located on the university's campus.

The 2014 Southland Conference baseball tournament was held from May 21 through 24. The top eight regular season finishers of the league's fourteen teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Bear Stadium on the campus of Central Arkansas University in Conway, Arkansas. The event returned to a campus environment for one year before again being played at neutral Sugar Land, Texas, in 2015 and 2016. Southeastern Louisiana won their first tournament championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.

Lady Demon Diamond is the home stadium for the Northwestern State Lady Demons softball team. Located across the street from Prather Coliseum on the campus of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, the stadium features seating for 1,000 fans. Included in the 1,000 seat capacity is a combination of partially covered chairback and bleacher seats. The Outfield Club, located outside of the left field fence, provides additional bleacher seating. The stadium has field lighting, bullpens, dugouts, and a press box.

Joe Miller Field at Cowgirl Diamond is the home stadium for the Division I (NCAA) McNeese State Cowgirls softball team. Located on the campus of McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the stadium has a 1,200 seating capacity. Seating consists of partially covered bleacher seating. The stadium has field lighting, bullpens, dugouts, and a press box. An indoor training facility, the "H.I.T" or House of Indoor Training, located outside the right field fence, allows hitting practice in all weather conditions. A Daktronics electronic scoreboard includes a message board. The initial home game was played on March 14, 2003, against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles softball team.

The 2015 Southland Conference tournament was held at Lady Demon Diamond on the campus of Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, from May 6 through May 8, 2015. The tournament winner, Central Arkansas earned the Southland Conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division I softball tournament. The Championship game was broadcast on ESPN3 with the remainder of the tournament airing on the Southland Digital Network.

The 2016–17 Southeastern Louisiana Lions basketball team represented Southeastern Louisiana University during the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Lions, led by third-year head coach Jay Ladner, played their home games at the University Center in Hammond, Louisiana as members of the Southland Conference. They finished the season 16–16, 9–9 in Southland play to finish in seventh place. They lost in the first round of the Southland tournament to Lamar.

The 2017–18 Southeastern Louisiana Lions basketball team represented Southeastern Louisiana University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Lions, led by fourth-year head coach Jay Ladner, played their home games at the University Center in Hammond, Louisiana as members of the Southland Conference. They finished the season 22–12, 15–3 in Southland play to finish in a tie for the Southland regular season championship with Nicholls State. As the No. 1 seed in the Southland tournament, they defeated Sam Houston State in the semifinals before losing in the championship game to Stephen F. Austin. As a regular season champion, and No. 1 seed in their conference tournament, who failed to win their conference tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Saint Mary's.

The 2012 NCAA Division I softball season, play of college softball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began in February 2012. The season progressed through the regular season, many conference tournaments and championship series, and concluded with the 2012 NCAA Division I softball tournament and 2012 Women's College World Series. The Women's College World Series, consisting of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA Tournament and held in Oklahoma City at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, ended on June 6, 2012.

The 2021 Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions softball team represented Southeastern Louisiana University during the 2021 NCAA Division I softball season. The Lady Lions played their home games at North Oak Park and were led by sixth-year head coach Rick Fremin. They were members of the Southland Conference.

The 2020 Southland Conference women's soccer tournament, the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Southland Conference, was held from April 13 to April 17, 2020. The seven-match tournament took place at the Lamar Soccer Complex in Beaumont, Texas. The eight-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The defending champions were the Lamar Lady Cardinals, but they were unable to defend their title falling in the first round to Sam Houston State 4–3. The Southeastern Lady Lions won the tournament, defeating Sam Houston 3–0 in the final.
