Northwestern Switzerland (German : Nordwestschweiz, French : Suisse du Nord-Ouest, Italian : Svizzera nordoccidentale) is the common name of the region of Switzerland encompassing the cantons of Basel-Stadt, Basel-Landschaft and Aargau. It is one of the NUTS-2 regions of Switzerland.
