Nyaay: The Justice is an 2021 Indian Hindi-language biographical drama film. The film is directed by Dilip Gulati and produced by Saraogi and Rahul Sharma under the banner of Vikas Productions. The film features Zuber Khan and Shreya Shukla in the lead roles. [2] [3]

Plot

The film revolves around a boy called Mahinder Singh who comes to tinsel town with the youthful innocence and exuberance associated with small towns. His sheer perseverance, dexterity and histrionics makes him earn the admiration of both critics and fans. His intellect, the choice of scripts not only makes him lock horns with the high and mighty but also a thorn in their flesh.

Production

Nyaay: The Justice, which is inspired by the life of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, wrapped up its final schedule in October 2020. It was released on 11 June 2021, [5] after initially being projected to release in April 2021. [6]

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Death of Sushant Singh Rajput</span> 2020 death of Indian actor

On 14 June 2020, Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his room in Bandra, Mumbai, aged 34. The cause of death was ruled to have been suicide, with official postmortem reports confirming Rajput died of asphyxia due to hanging. The Mumbai Police launched an investigation into the death, which had become a subject of widespread speculation and rumours.

Rumi Jaffery is an Indian scriptwriter and filmmaker who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. He is popular for penning the scripts of Coolie No. 1 (1995), Hero No. 1 (1997), and Biwi No.1 (1999) in association with David Dhawan. He wrote scripts for around 50 films before turning into a director with God Tussi Great Ho (2008). He then went on to direct Life Partner (2009), Gali Gali Chor Hai (2012), and Chehre (2021).
