Khichdi is a Hindi language sitcom produced by UTV Software Communications in association with Hats Off Productions, which debuted on STAR Plus on 10 September 2002. It aimed to bring to the audience never-seen-before facts of Indian history. The weekly programme chronicles the history of India from 1947 to the present day. The TV series was hosted by the renowned film-maker, actor and host Shekhar Kapur and directed by Puneet Sharma. It was a unique attempt to present the changes in the country during the tenures of 13 prime ministers in the last 65 years. Pradhanmantri aired every Saturday at 10 pm. Raghi Papiya Joshi and Sohan Thakur are casting directors.

Shaandaar (transl. Magnificent) is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. It stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, with Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles. Principal photography began in August 2014 in Leeds, and the film released on 22 October 2015. The film received highly negative reviews and became a box-office bomb.
The Khichdi franchise is a Hindi language franchise of television series and films created by Hats Off Productions and UTV Software Communications, written and directed by Aatish Kapadia. It is one of the earliest franchises on Indian Television to adopt the western model of appearing in seasons and also the first Indian television series to be adapted into a Bollywood film series.
Gaurav Kapur, also spelled as Gaurav Kapoor is an Indian actor, television and cricket presenter known for being the host of the pre-match Indian Premier League show, Extraaa Innings T20, Cricbuzz Live and his YouTube show Breakfast with Champions.
