Old Fort Church is an historic African-American Methodist church located on Old Baltimore Pike in Christiana, New Castle County, Delaware. The church was originally built on Schoolbell Road (in Christiana Hundred) near Christiana in 1850. In 1897, it was dismantled and reconstructed on its present site. It is a one-story, three bay by three bay, gable-roofed brick structure. It features modified lancet-type windows that illuminate the main block. The gable ends have various types of decorative wood shingles painted dark green. [2]

Red Hill Church and School is a historic church and school located on Durham Road at Ottsville, Tinicum Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The church was built in 1766, and is a two bay by two bay, stuccoed stone building with a gable roof. The one-room school building was built in 1843, and is a one-story, three bay by one bay, stuccoed stone building. It has a gable roof with cupola. The church was built by a Presbyterian congregation, who sold it to a Lutheran and Reformed Church congregation in 1843. It remain in use as a church until 1920, then re-occupied in the summer of 1959. The school was use for public education until 1958, after which it was used for community meetings.

It was built in 1859 and is a one-story, four bay gable roofed brick building. Adjacent to the church is a four and a half acre church cemetery with burials dating back to the mid-18th century. The church congregation was established in 1708 by Scotch-Irish immigrants.

Daniel McConn Barn United States historic place

The Daniel McConn Barn is a historic agricultural building located in near Fort Madison, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is a bank barn that is built into a south-facing slope. The south exposure of the basement level of the structure allowed protection of livestock in cold weather. The Pennsylvania-type barn was built around 1857 on a farm owned by Daniel McConn, a native of County Down, Ireland. He made his way to Fort Madison in 1837 where he became a merchant. While he owned the farm, it was worked by a tenant farmer. The foundation of the structure is of rubble construction and the sides of the upper structure are of vertical board-and-batten siding. It is capped with a low-pitched, gable roof that features three pyramid-shaped hip roofed ventilation cupolas located along the ridge.
