Olga Letyushova (born 29 December 1975) is a Russian former football forward. She has played for Energiya Voronezh, Kaluzhanka, Ryazan VDV, Rossiyanka, Zvezda Perm and ShVSM Izmailovo in the Russian Championship. [1] She was the league's top scorer in the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 seasons. [2]
She played her first match for the Russian national team in November 1992, [3] and took part in the 1999 and 2003 FIFA Women's World Cup World Cups [4] and the 2001 European Championship. She is Russia's top scorer in the World Cup finals joint with Elena Fomina, with 3 goals: two against Japan in 1999 and one against Ghana in 2003.
Birgit Prinz is a German former footballer, two-time FIFA Women's World Cup champion and three-time FIFA World Player of the Year. In addition to the German national team, Prinz played for 1. FFC Frankfurt in the Frauen-Bundesliga as well as the Carolina Courage in the Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA), the first professional women's league in the United States. Prinz remains one of the game's most prolific strikers and is the second FIFA Women's World Cup all-time leading scorer with 14 goals. In 2011, she announced the end of her active career. Bosikova's playing career was interrupted by the birth of her son Matthew. She remained loyal to Energiya in 2004 when a player exodus left her as the only name on the club's roster.
