Oliver Sauter (born 9 May 1996) is a Swiss professional wrestler signed to WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand under the ring name Oro Mensah as a member of The Meta-Four.
Oliver Sauter was born in Zürich, Switzerland, to a Swiss father and a Ghanaian mother.
Sauter wrestled his first match on 12 May 2012 at Swiss Championship Wrestling under the ring name Mr. Exotic Erotic and lost to Belthazar. On 27 October, he teamed with Cash Crash to win the SCW Tag Team Championship, defeating Bad Snake & Magic Sly. [3] The reign lasted until 28 September 2013, when they lost the titles to Pancho & Sancho. He began competing for New European Championship Wrestling in early 2014, where he defeated former tag team partner Cash Crash on 1 February 2014. During the year, he still fought for Swiss Wrestling Entertainment and Classic Wrestling Entertainment. Over time he fought for various other independent promotions, including Westside Xtreme Wrestling, Rising Sun Wrestling, Frontier Championship Wrestling, German Hurricane Wrestling and German Wrestling Federation, winning various titles.
On 19 April 2019, Sauter made his NXT UK debut under the ring name Oliver Carter in a dark match, which he lost to Kassius Ohno. [4] He was utilized as a jobber until 16 November where he ended his losing streak. He teamed with Ashton Smith to defeat The Outliers (Dorian Mak and Riddick Moss). He returned to the brand on 17 January 2020, where he teamed with Smith to defeat Pretty Deadly (Lewis Howley and Sam Stoker). On 7 March, he participated in a battle royal to determine the next challenger for the NXT UK Championship, but failed to win the match.
On the 2 June 2022 episode of NXT UK, Carter and Smith won the NXT UK Tag Team Championship by defeating previous champions Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven and Tyler Bate) and Die Familie (Teoman and Rohan Raja) in a triple threat match. [5] [6] On the 23 June episode of NXT UK, Carter and Smith were set to defend their titles against NXT 2.0's Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, but Smith suffered a knee injury and had to vacate them. On the 13 September 2022 episode of NXT, a video package was shown to reintroduce Carter under the ring name of Oro Mensah, with his debut announced for the following week's episode. [8] In his debut match, Mensah defeated Grayson Waller to qualify for the NXT North American Championship ladder match at Halloween Havoc. [9] At the event on 22 October, Wes Lee won the match. [10] On the 4 November episode of NXT Level Up , Mensah defeated Xyon Quinn. [11] On the 28 March 2023 episode of NXT, Mensah competed in a 20-man battle royal to claim a spot in the fatal-five-way NXT North American Championship match at Stand & Deliver, eliminating Quinn but was eliminated by Jinder Mahal. [12] On 25 April at Spring Breakin', Mensah lost against the debuting Oba Femi. [13] On 28 May at Battleground, Mensah turned heel and joined Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend in helping Noam Dar retain his NXT Heritage Cup against Dragon Lee. [14] On the 13 June episode of NXT, Mensah competed in Dar's place due to injury, losing his Heritage Cup to Nathan Frazer. [15]

It was defended on the NXT UK brand division, a sister brand of WWE's developmental territory NXT based in the United Kingdom. Established on 18 June 2018, the inaugural championship team was James Drake and Zack Gibson. On 4 September 2022 at Worlds Collide, the title was unified into the NXT Tag Team Championship, officially retiring the title in the process, with the team of Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs recognized as the final champions.

While the event was held primarily for wrestlers from the promotion's NXT and NXT UK brand divisions, Worlds Collide also featured some wrestlers from WWE's main roster brands, Raw and SmackDown. It took place on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and was the first Worlds Collide to livestream on Peacock. This was the first Worlds Collide event since 2020 and also the final event for NXT UK, which was meant to relaunch as NXT Europe in 2023. This was also NXT's last major event in which the brand was referred to as "NXT 2.0", as nine days later, the "2.0" moniker was dropped.

It was held exclusively for wrestlers from the promotion's NXT brand division. Unlike the previous two years, which aired as television specials, the 2022 Halloween Havoc aired as a livestreaming event. It took place on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. SmackDown wrestler Shotzi returned to co-host the event with NXT wrestler Quincy Elliott; Shotzi previously hosted the 2020 event when she was still on NXT. In a cross-promotion with the Chucky TV series, Chucky returned to participate in the Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal segments.
