PTX Summer Tour 2018 [1] was the seventh concert tour by American a cappella group Pentatonix to promote their sixth studio album, PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I . The tour began on July 12, 2018, in West Valley City, and concluded on September 16, 2018, in Tinley Park.

On February 27, 2018, the group announced their new album, PTX Presents: Top Pop, Vol. I, along with a 39-city tour. [2]

Characterized by their pop-style arrangements with vocal harmonies, basslines, riffing, percussion, and beatboxing, they produce cover versions of modern pop works or Christmas songs, sometimes in the form of medleys, along with original material. Pentatonix was formed in 2011 and subsequently won the third season of NBC's The Sing-Off, receiving $200,000 and a recording contract with Sony Music. When Sony's Epic Records dropped the group after The Sing-Off, the group formed its YouTube channel, distributing its music through Madison Gate Records, a label owned by Sony Pictures.

Originally formed as a quartet of siblings, the band currently consists of Sydney, Noah, and Graham Sierota, following the departure of eldest sibling Jamie in 2016. Echosmith started first as "Ready Set Go!" until they signed to Warner Bros. Records in May 2012. After the group won NBC's The Sing-Off in 2011, they released eleven albums, which have sold over 2 million records, and have amassed more than two billion views on their YouTube channel.

As of September 2023, Pentatonix has released eleven albums and six EPs, have had five songs in the Billboard Hot 100, and won three Grammy awards as "the first a cappella group to achieve mainstream success in the modern market". PTX, Vol. III is the fourth extended play album by the a cappella group Pentatonix. It was released on September 23, 2014 by RCA Records, although it was released earlier in Australia on September 19, 2014. The extended play contains four covers as well as three original tracks. As of October 23, 2015, PTX, Vol. III has sold 201,226 copies.

American a cappella group Pentatonix (PTX) has released 11 studio albums, six compilation albums, six extended plays (EPs), 34 singles and 58 music videos. The group won the third season of The Sing-Off in 2011, and subsequently received a recording contract with Sony. In June 2012, Pentatonix released their first extended play, PTX, Volume 1 through Sony-owned independent record label Madison Gate Records. The EP debuted at number 14 on the US Billboard 200, selling 18,401 copies in its first week of sales. A Christmas EP, PTXmas, was released in November 2012. It was re-released in November 2013 with one of its new tracks, "Little Drummer Boy", debuting at number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and charting in other countries such as Austria, Canada and New Zealand. The EP became the sixth highest-selling Christmas album of 2013, selling over 168,000 copies. Pentatonix World Tour was the fifth headlining concert tour by American a cappella group Pentatonix to promote their eponymous album. The tour began in Chiba on April 2, 2016, and concluded in Essex Junction on September 3, 2017.

The On My Way Home Tour was the fourth headlining concert tour by American a cappella group Pentatonix to promote their EP PTX, Vol. III. The tour began on February 25, 2015, in Oakland, California, at the Fox Oakland Theatre, concluding on June 16, 2015, in Osaka, Japan, at Zepp Namba.

PTX, Vol. IV: Classics is the fifth extended play album by the a cappella group Pentatonix. It was released by RCA Records on April 7, 2017, and is their first EP since 2014's PTX, Vol. III. It is their final release with original member Avi Kaplan, who left the group later that year.
