Padre Pio TV, [1] formerly known as Tele Radio Padre Pio, [2] is a Catholic television channel belonging to the Capuchin Friars of San Giovanni Rotondo, a city in the province of Foggia, Italy, the place where lived and died the saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina to whom the TV channel is dedicated. Padre Pio TV programming is broadcast on digital terrestrial television systems to the entire national territory of Italy on channel position 145. Padre Pio TV is available to free-to-air satellite television viewers in Europe and the Mediterranean area via Eutelsat Hot Bird 13C @ 13,0° Est Trasponder 158, in the frequency of 11,662 MHz, Trasponder 158, DVB-S2 8PSK, Vertical pole, 27,500 Ms / s, 3/4, with the name Padre Pio TV. It also broadcasts on a radio broadcasting system to the outskirts of the province of Foggia.

Saint Mary of Graces is considered the co-patroness of Padre Pio TV. The patron saint of this Italian Catholic channel is Saint Pio of Pietrelcina.

Inaugurated on 5 May 1956, the hospital has adopted modern technologies and is often considered as one of the most efficient scientific research hospitals in Europe. The building is situated at the highest part of the town, on the top of the hill, giving the location an identity of a hospital-town. Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza has two major activity wings. One of which is an internationally regarded hospital for the relief of suffering and the other is a state-of-the-art scientific research centre which had received the status of a Scientific Hospitalization and Treatment Institute (IRCCS), an institute of national interest, by the decree of Italian Ministry of Health in 1991. The research centre is also home to the Genomic and Genetic Disorders Biobank which is part of the Telethon Network of Genetic Biobanks and conducts basic and pre-clinical research and clinical trials in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies.
