Pascale Alajouanine

Pascale Alajouanine (born 23 April 1955) is a French aviator and aerobatics champion. [1] [2]

Alajouanine was born in Hazebrouck, Nord, France. She works part-time as an optician. [3] She is a member of the French national aerobatics team and a CAP10 champion in France. [4] She also flies CAP 232 aircraft. [3]

Pascale Ehrenfreund is an Austrian astrophysicist. Ehrenfreund holds degrees from the University of Vienna and Webster Leiden. Prior to becoming a Research Professor of Space Policy and International Affairs at George Washington University, she was a professor at Radboud University Nijmegen, Leiden University, and University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. She was the first woman president of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and from 2015-2020, she was the CEO of the German Aerospace Center. She subsequently trained as a test pilot, going on to set 42 world flight records and flying more than 20 types of aircraft. By the end of her flight career in 1984, she had accumulated more than 4000 hours of flight time, including 1500 hours as a test pilot.
