Mandaluyong High School is a high school located in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Republic of the Philippines. Founded in 1977 through the initiative of the late Mayor Renato I. Lopez, Mandaluyong High School is the oldest public secondary school of Mandaluyong. Due to its scarcity of classrooms during its pioneering years, some classes had to be held in three different elementary schools. Evolving into a comprehensive four-year public high school with the construction of additional buildings and various facilities, the school now educates around 3,800 students in six buildings. With 55 classrooms, it has the largest building of all the city's schools.

Pasig Rainforest Park, also known as Pasig City Rainforest Adventure Experience and Pasig Central Park, is a public park in Pasig, eastern Metro Manila, Philippines. It spans 8 hectares, and is a mixed recreational and natural park with a mini-zoo. The rainforest park was opened to the public in 1977 with an initial area of 4.8 hectares. It had an Olympic-sized swimming pool, jogging oval, children's playground, tennis courts and a fitness center. In 1996, the park was enlarged with the acquisition of an additional 2.1 hectares. The park was relaunched as the Rainforest Adventure Experience (RAVE) in 2013 with the completion of the boating lagoon, zip line, obstacle course and a skatepark.
Victor Ma. Regis "Vico" Nubla Sotto is a Filipino politician serving as the incumbent mayor of Pasig. A member of the Sotto family, he first entered politics when he ran for a seat on the Pasig City Council in 2016. He won the election as an independent and served a term in the city council. He joined the Aksyon Demokratiko party and was elected mayor of Pasig in 2019 with a platform focused on public consultation, data-driven governance, and universal health care in the city, which prioritizes housing programs, easier access to education, and cracking down on corruption. Sotto was re-elected in 2022; shortly afterwards, he resigned from Aksyon Demokratiko.
