Patrick Crosby is an American professional indoor lacrosse goaltender from Philadelphia, PA. Crosby played collegiate ice hockey for Temple University of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. Crosby has played in the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League (Akwesasne Mad Mohawks), Quebec Senior Lacrosse League (Vermont Voyageurs), Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League (Rochester Greywolves | Rochester River Monsters) as well as with the U.S. Indoor Lacrosse National Developmental Team (2009–2011). Crosby was selected to represent Slovakia at the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship in Prague, CZ. He has played professionally for the Kentucky Stickhorses of the NALL (North American Lacrosse League) where he was selected as the 3rd overall pick in the 2011 Entry Draft. [1] In 2021, he was signed to the Philadelphia Wings practice squad. [2] Crosby is originally from Sayreville, NJ. [3]

Amateur career

Crosby has played in the Baltimore Indoor Lacrosse League, Philadelphia Box Lacrosse Association and Philadelphia Indoor Lacrosse League. He also played for the United States Developmental Team in the Freedom Cup in Richmond, Virginia in 2010. He also played for the USIL Developmental team for three seasons in net.

Canadian Lacrosse

In 2008 Crosby played for the Akwesasne Mad Mohawks of the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League. He would spend the next two seasons with the Vermont Voyageurs of the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League. Crosby also played for the United States Developmental team in 2010 and 2011, and in 2012 played with the Rochester Greywolves of the Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League. He helped lead the Greywolves to the playoffs that season.

Since 2018, Crosby has been with the Rochester River Monsters of the Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League. [4]

In 2019/2020, Crosby signed and appeared with the Oshawa Outlaws of the Arena Lacrosse League. [5]

International

Crosby represented team Slovakia [6] in the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship in Prague, Czech Republic in 2011. [7]

In 2013 Crosby was drafted by LC Custodes Radotín (CZ) in the European Lacrosse League and competed in the 2013 ELL season. [8]

Kentucky Stickhorses

Crosby was the third overall pick in the 2011 North American Lacrosse League Draft.

Kentucky went 5-1 in their inaugural season, in which he played in every game.

In 2013 he returned to Kentucky [9] where he started in the championship game.

Crosby was the only American goaltender to be selected in the original NALL draft and not signed as a free agent.

National Lacrosse League

In December of 2021, Crosby signed with the Philadelphia Wings to their practice squad. [10]

Hockey

Crosby played collegiate ice hockey with the Temple Owls.

Dawson ranks 2nd on the all-time NLL points list through of the 2022 season. He is a 7 time NLL All Pro selection. As a professional, he is a 7 time Mann Cup Canadian box lacrosse champion, and a 1 time Major League Lacrosse (field) champion (2009 Toronto Nationals. Representing Canada, Dawson has won two World Indoor Lacrosse Championship titles and was a finalist in the 2010 World Lacrosse Championship. Dawson has won two Champion's Cups as a member of the Rochester Knighthawks in 2013 and 2014.

Brodie Merrill is a Canadian professional lacrosse player. He currently plays in the National Lacrosse League for the San Diego Seals and Premier Lacrosse League for the Cannons. Merrill is recognized by the Premier Lacrosse League as having revolutionized the LSM position, and is the namesake for the Brodie Merrill LSM of the Year Award, being the only active PLL player to have an award named after them.

Ginny Capicchioni American lacrosse player

Ginny Capicchioni is a lacrosse goaltender. She played women's lacrosse at Sacred Heart University. After college she played men's box lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League, senior Canadian Lacrosse Association, and for Team USA at the 2011 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship. Capicchioni grew up in Oradell, New Jersey and attended River Dell Regional High School, where she played basketball, field hockey and softball.

Athan Iannucci Canadian lacrosse player

Jonathan Iannucci is a professional lacrosse player. He played collegiate lacrosse at Hofstra University. Iannucci plays professional lacrosse for the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League. He was a member of the now defunct St. Regis Indians of the Ontario Lacrosse Association's Senior-A Major Series Lacrosse. He plays in the summer months for the WLA Langley Thunder.

Wailes is known internationally as a Canadian indoor lacrosse player. Wailes played for the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League, played collegiate lacrosse at Brown University, and was a junior hockey player in the Ontario Hockey League.

Anthony Kelly is a retired professional lacrosse player that played on the Chesapeake Bayhawks in the MLL. He has also played for the Rochester Knighthawks and New York Titans in the NLL, the Kentucky Stickhorses in the NALL, and the Los Angeles Riptide, Chicago Machine, Rochester Rattlers, Ohio Machine, and Denver Outlaws of the MLL. He is a faceoff specialist and won a Bronze Medal with U.S. Men's National Indoor Team in 2007. He retired in April 2018.

Brett Queener is an American lacrosse player. He is currently a member of the Chrome Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League and was selected by the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League. He never played for them. Queener is best known as a field lacrosse goaltender, however he plays an offensive position in indoor box lacrosse. Queener is currently the head coach of the Community School of Naples varsity lacrosse team.

The Can-Am Senior B Lacrosse League is a Senior-level Canadian and American box lacrosse league. The teams are located in the Southwestern Ontario and Upstate New York regions. Sanctioned by the First Nations Lacrosse Association, the champions of the Can-Am league compete for the Presidents Cup, the Canadian National Senior B championship. Can-Am teams have won the Presidents' Cup five times.

Godfrey began playing the sport one month short of his 21st birthday. North American Lacrosse League

The North American Lacrosse League (NALL) was a professional indoor lacrosse league based in the United States. It was founded in 2011 as North America's fourth professional lacrosse league, after American Lacrosse League Major League Lacrosse and the National Lacrosse League. However, a rift in the organization led to the departure of four of the five teams to form the Professional Lacrosse League. After playing only one "full" season that was plagued with canceled games, a franchise folding, and players not showing up for games, the leagues folded.

Kevin Crowley is a Canadian professional lacrosse player for the Philadelphia Wings in the National Lacrosse League and the Philadelphia Barrage in Major League Lacrosse. Crowley is one of only three players in the history of lacrosse to be drafted first overall in both professional leagues. Crowley attended New Westminster Secondary School and played his collegiate lacrosse at Stony Brook University.

The Interstate Box Lacrosse Association (IBLA) was a men's semi-professional box lacrosse league based in the United States. From 2019 to 2021, the IBLA served as an official partner of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), operating as a developmental funnel. The league was founded in 2017 to unite regional semi-professional leagues into a system similar to the Canadian Lacrosse Association structure of men's Senior A and Senior B indoor lacrosse teams. As of 2021 there are 52 total teams playing in 17 regional leagues. The Seneca Marksmen are the most recent IBLA champions, defeating the Grand Rapids Grizzlies in Lakeland, Florida on September 19, 2021.

Blaze Riorden is an American professional lacrosse player who plays as a goalie for Chaos Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League and as a forward for the Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League. In the PLL he has won three straight Oren Lyons Goalie of the Year awards, making him the first goalie to do so. He is also one of only two field lacrosse goalies to win league MVP at the professional level and is widely regarded as one of the greatest lacrosse goalies of all time.
