Patrick P. Lundy (born March 1967) is an American gospel musician and founder/director of Patrick Lundy and The Ministers of Music, based out of Washington, D.C.. His first album, We Sing the Power, was released in 1995. The second album, You Carried Me, was released in 1998. He released the third album, Standin' in 2003 with Allen & Allen Music Group. His four album, In the Fellowship, was released in 2005 by Meridian, and it was his Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart.

Early life

Lundy was born in March 1967 in Thomasville, Georgia, the son of Charlie B. Lundy and Mary Lundy. [1] [2] He is a graduate of Howard University, where he received his bachelor's degree in music business. [1]

Music career

Lundy formed The Ministers of Music in November 1994 at Ebenezer AME Church located in Fort Washington, Maryland. [3] He started his recording music career in 1995, with the release of We Sing the Power. [3] The subsequent album, You Carried Me, was released in 1998. [3] His third album, Standin', was released in 2003 by Allen & Allen Music Group. [4] and it was produced by Dorothy Norwood. [1] The fourth album, In the Fellowship, was released by Meridian Records on September 13, 2005, and this was his breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart at No. 29. [5] His fifth album, Determined, [3] was released in 2007, yet this failed to chart. [4]

The third release, A Call to Worship, was released by Integrity Records alongside Epic Records and Sony Urban in 2004. This would be his first album to breakthrough on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. He released his fourth album, My Destiny, with Integrity Music alongside Columbia Records in 2006, and this charted on the aforementioned chart. The fifth album, Times of Refreshing, released in 2008 with Integrity Music, again this charted on the aforementioned chart. His sixth album released in 2012 by HYW Music, O That Men Would Worship, and this charted on the aforementioned chart.

Troy Lenard Sneed Jr. was an American gospel singer, songwriter, and musician.

Natalie Wilson, is an American gospel musician and artist. She started her music career, in 2000, with the release of Girl Director by Interscope Records. This would be her Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums and the R&B Albums charts. Her second album, Good Life, was released in 2003 by GospoCentric. The album would chart again on the two aforementioned charts.

Lamar Campbell is an American gospel musician. He started his music career in 1987, and has since created the group Spirit of Praise that are based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. They have released nine albums with six of them charting on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. Lowell Curtis Pye is an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 1996, with the gospel group Men of Standard, yet his solo career commenced in 2010, with the release of Finally by Miralex Entertainment. His second album, Transformed, was released by Entertainment One in 2014. Both albums charted on Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart.

JeffMajors Graham, who goes by the stage name JeffMajors, is an American Inspirational jazz musician. He started his music career, in 1998, with the release of, Sacred, that was released by Music One Records, which all of his albums have been release by the imprint. Majors released albums in 2000 with Sacred Holidays, 2001's Sacred 2000, Sacred 4 You in 2002, 2005's Sacred Chapter 6, Sacred Major 7th in 2008, and Sacred Eight in 2009, and 2010's Sacred Duets. All but two of these albums chart upon the Billboard magazine charts, primarily on the Gospel Albums chart, with some placements on the R&B Albums chart.

He started his solo music career, in 1990, with the release of, He's There All the Time, that was released by J&B Records. His second album, It's in My Heart – Live in Raymond, MS, released by Verity Records in 2003, and this placed on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. The third album, Keep Knocking, was released in 2013 by Malaco Records, but this did not place on any charts.

Reverend Oscar Eason Hayes, was an American gospel musician and leader of The Abundant Life Fellowship Chorale. He started his music career, in 1991, with the release of Got 2 Tell It by Tyscot Records. His second album, Simply Determined, was released in 1993 by Tyscot Records, and this was his breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. The third release, Choir Music, Vol. 1: Live in New Orleans, came out in 2001 from Sound of Gospel and this placed on the aforementioned chart.

He released, Created 2 Worship, with Tyscot Records in 2009, and this was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart at number 34. He was nominated for a NAACP Theatre Award for his role in The Fabric of a Man by David E. Talbert.

Kimberly A. Stratton is an American gospel musician. Her first album, I'm in This Place, was released by Glorious Music in 1994, and this was a Billboard magazine breakthrough release upon the Gospel Albums chart. She released, Live in Chicago with the A.F.C. Choir, with Glorious Records in 1995. The third album, Almost Forgot to Worship, was released in 2007 with Kingdom Records.

Minister Alen VonShea Norman, who went by the stage name Shea Norman, was an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 2004, with the release of My Heart Depends on You, by Verity Records. This would be his breakthrough release upon the Billboard Gospel Albums chart. The song, "I Choose to Worship", was put on the WOW Gospel 2012 album. Angelo & Veronica are an American urban contemporary gospel music husband and wife duo from Boston, Massachusetts, and they started their music recording careers in 1992. The duo released nine albums with five labels, with two of those albums charted on the US Billboard Christian Albums chart.

Allen & Allen are an American urban contemporary gospel jazz-funk and soul jazz African-American music duo from Daytona Beach, Florida, and they started their music recording careers in 1994. Robert Earl Blair, was an American gospel musician and leader of The Fantastic Violinaires originating from Detroit, Michigan from 1965 until his death.
