    Gary Richard Glenn was an American politician and activist who was a member of the Michigan House of Representatives for the state's 98th district, from 2015 to 2018, as a Republican. He campaigned to prohibit compulsory union membership or financial support as a condition of employment. He was also president of the American Family Association of Michigan, an organization that the Southern Poverty Law Center has recognized as a hate group. In his role with the American Family Association, he coauthored a 2004 amendment to the state constitution which defined marriage as solely between one man and one woman, until it was overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court's 2015 decision in Obergefell v. Hodges.
